Please shoot a note out to Purpony, he’s the machinist that brought the idea together for me!! Sandcasting is a cheap way to mass produce, the quantity produced has to offset the cost of the mold and the smelt process of the aluminum, works well and is inexpensive over a large quantity, however, CNC cut from billet is a much better process, and of course more expensive.
