I will jump in on one to help the cause. It would be nice if the stick was a wee bit longer. My x1 "equalizes" my oil level until it is just a drip on the end of the stick. I have never had my cap pop out.. just puked oil out the breather. |

Including me I count "7" - that's 1/3 of 20. I'm waiting on a couple of other people as well. "Depending on the price" I anticipated was going to be the first question |

For some reason it seemed like it was 50-70 bucks when I bought mine, and it was still a stocked part, but I could be wrong that has probably been 7 yrs ago. I just found my receipt from American Sport Bike 49.00, March 06. (Message edited by Blks1l on August 25, 2011) |

I had installed them in both my S1's.........way better than fighting the rubber stopper to check add/oil.........(never had one pop out though). I can't remember if the fit the S2 as well......?? Ride safe........Jack |

Just wanted to provide an update for folks still expressing interested in the possible new run of Banke oil caps. I contacted Al at American Sport Bike to see if there's any news. James hasn't gotten back to him yet, so he'll try and contact him later in the week to see where things stand. |

I finally got pricing from James. I'll get enough of them to keep him in the game. The first 15 sold will be $70, they will then jump to $75. I've asked him to proceed with building them. I don't have a schedule for when we'll see them, but I'll get them up on the web site right away. We'll send them out to the orders that we get the day we receive them. See http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/5625.html Al |

James Banke told me yesterday that he'll have them ready in 3-4 weeks. All the orders that come in in the meantime should ship the day we get them in. As per usual, we'll charge the card the day they ship. Al |

Al, You're the man!! If you continue to sell a them, I'll order one a little later when I get back to the Mainland. I can't justify spending $30+ in shipping to Hawaii....so maybe next year. |

For the Banke big axle kit, just click on the Buell drop-down menu for brake rotors. I've been wanting to order that for years, now. |

Had this threaded oil filler on my workbench for a few days. Got it installed on Saturday, very nice part and great addition. I'm sure Al still has some left. Thanks Al and James Banke! |
