It IS so. When you concentrate high-risk people (relatively speaking - 5.4% mortality rate versus 0.5%) together in a building, it will kill a lot of people in that building. Anyone with a modicum of common sense, understands this. Cuomo, obviously, has zero common sense. It is not killing our nation. It is not killing our population. It does not justify closing down our economy, our schools, or our businesses. Stay in your basement and hide if you want, but quit spreading lies and trying to spread fear. | ||

I occasionally listen to Howard Stern's radio show, and it's crazy how scared most New Yorkers are about this virus. Howard himself has left his house only twice since March. That's just retarded. Meanwhile down here in Georgia we're wearing masks but going about our lives. | ||

Basement and hiding will not help, coronavirus will get us everywhere, we are doomed. You're right - most of us will likely catch it. And one of us might die from it, out of every 5,000 people who catch it. That's the math, for a 99.98% survival rate. If that scares you? You have a problem. Seriously. You, and everyone like you, need to get the hell over it and move on with life. More importantly, you (and those like you) need to let the rest of us get on with OUR lives. ...we are doomed. Sure. Always have been. The Civilization killing asteroid is overdue. The Super-volcano eruption is due. ( the last one killed so many that every human left alive is related to one woman. One guess is less than 7000 humans left, 70 k years ago. ) And there's this little problem of the upcoming Ice Age, and we've got no plans to deal with that, at all. ( there's certainly someone in multiple countries that's written up a plan to protect a few cities with nuclear powered steam pipes and build icebreakers & greenhouses in Brazil. My little brother died Thursday from cancer so I drove down to Texas for his funeral. I left Colorado Sunday and arrived at my folks place last night. Mom’s 88 and pop’s 89. Both have COPD. Pop told me that my mom was in the hospital and that she tested positive for covid. Three hours ago we were tested and pop is positive. I will get tested again when I get home as I tested negative. This feels like a bad acid trip. This country will survive, I believe, but there’s a tough road ahead. I will have more to say later. Z | ||
