WOW, simply wow. Two posts without watching the video. You do realize you are judging the proverbial book by the cover? Perhaps a peek at the video would show what is compared to what. Willful ignorance. Funny thing is, that video just provided empirical evidence for what we already know. Activity around the world has slowed. How the hell is even a controversial statement? This has gone the way of political discussion and climate discussions. There are just those who do not want to even acknowledge anything that may upset their world view. The part I really don't understand is there seem to be those who see this as something that affects the US differently or worse than the rest of the world. It's like they believe there's some world wide conspiracy to hurt the US with a world wide disinformation campaign. They act like the data is being made up and pushed out by countries from around the world, and it's all BS. I simply don't get it.  | ||

So...adding 1,290 deaths makes it into 21 million? The revision comes just a week and a half after the city celebrated the lifting of an unprecedented 76-day lockdown imposed to stop the disease's spread. The vast majority of China's infections and deaths were recorded in Wuhan. In real numbers, an additional 1,290 deaths were recorded with Friday's admission, bringing the total for Wuhan to 3,869. "It's almost bang on 50%..." Yeah, that's typical when upper management is just making the numbers up to commit fraud. Much like 97% is a focus group tested ( seriously! Documentation is out there ) number more people are willing to believe. Oddly 96% has a significantly lower acceptance rate. There's a reason 97% of scientists believe whatever the hell lie you are selling. Global farting, rabid lizard attacks, percentage of ventilators demanded by a governor who's stockpile had been used up and sold while the funding went to relatives... But 50% is an amateur mistake. A glaringly perfect number that should raise red flags for any number & spin savvy thinking person. Like I said, typical upper management reflexive lie. They figure that the lie is easier to remember if it's an easy calculation. Since the hardest part of lying isn't selling your soul to Satan and The Disney Corporation ( If that's not redundant ) It's remembering which lie you told which group. It wouldn't do to tell the Black Pastors Association how proudly you supported Jim Crow laws in the 1960s, like you said the day before at the Yellow Dog heritage meeting, where your old Klan buddies gave you a standing ovation for that part of your speech. Likewise, it's unwise to read the rant for tomorrow's speech on how evil your opponent is for his fundraiser in the Nor-Cal winery, at your Nor-Cal winery fundraiser! THAT speech is for the San Francisco poor people photo op, which you will give through bulletproof glass at the bodega owned by your rich neighbor, ( which won't be in camera ) before your heavily armed private security guards whisk you back to your walled city mansion. ( where you will tweet how walls are racist, and no one should own a gun ) The Chinese Masters just don't have the experience or need for subtlety in their lies. They're too used to just making the folk who admit to noticing disappear. Or threatening to shut down your company in China if you don't cooperate. | ||

Some folks will believe anything they are fed. Some of these videos and observations find most their value in entertainment. I envy those with the time to while away their hours watching them. The before an after picture of flights is extremely deceptive without even watching the video. I did not say I hadn't watched the video, I had. I said the picture is extremely deceptive. It is like a sensational headline that is contradicted by the story that follows. That is willful deception. My apologies for not giving you credit for viewing the video. That deception is called click bait. It is an accepted practice on youtube. I do not like it. Court, And I envy you. Honestly I do. Not trying to be a smart aleck. | ||

You basically did say that. It is like a sensational headline that is contradicted by the story that follows. That is willful deception. With watching the video, and paying attention to the video, you would have seen that that's how they were comparing before and after shots. It wiped from right to left, putting the after shot right where the before shot was (right about the 4:53 mark in this case). The land masses haven't' changed. It's just a shot of the North Atlantic ocean. I see you slept through geography too. You seem pretty confused for someone who had "watched" the video. | ||

And, I wasn’t trying to be a smart ass about having the time. I, and my team, are literally working 12 hours a day and keeping a $1B project on track for our new company. Timing for all this ..... its a long story ..... could not have been better for me. We’re in the regulatory/permitting phase and are deemed “essential”. We’ve actually, working in 3 different countries, accelerated our work and all the Attorneys and regulators are working from home and undistracted. Just signed the contract documents, after 11 months of negotiation, at 4:12pm. By 2023 I intend to try retiring again and stop starting companies .... then I’ll have time to watch the videos. | ||

Also it should be noted that a great number, if not the majority, are shipping (cargo) planes. G Not sure of the point you are trying to make here, but you do make the point that you have no idea what you are talking about. Just look at the lines of planes waiting to take off at a busy airport. Many more passenger than cargo, though much cargo is shipped on passenger flights. BTW, my wife, until a few years ago, happened to have been "the person" that the government and news papers would go to for these kinds of statistics whenever things get shaken up in air travel. The days after 9/11/01 were busy times for her. But feel free to try to support your ignorant statement. | ||

I watched the video before it was posted here. It was in my suggested list. The still is a split of the east coast and europe, before and after. Nothing deceptive about it. The video itself isn’t very interesting, but it certainly isn’t deceptive. | ||

Re: Pooh's Breath origins. There are 3 probable origins. In no particular order... 1. The usual piles of feces & rivers of mixed blood & urine in the Wet Markets that are a result of the Communist Party poor agricultural production & as an alternative way to get protein, owned by Communist Party rich as one of the profit making parts of their economy. ( which is why they've reopened, as they are a source of wealth for the Elite ) 2. Accidental release from a level 4 biological warfare lab, because the funds were stolen by the Party Elite, and they frankly don't care how many peasants die. 3. Deliberate release from a level 4 lab, to both stop the protests threatening the Glorious God King's power, and screw the planetary economy, so China can hold it's position of economic dominance. As far as our Domestic response and medical care goes, it makes zero difference which of the above is true. Zip. As far as international relations goes, which of the 3 causes IS important, but only in a minor way. No matter which is true, there's no justification for conventional, old school, war that kills lots of innocent people while the Elites are safe in their mansions. Not only do their Elite not particularly care how many peasants die, an external threat just gives them more power & wealth. However, even if there was zero malice in the origins of Pooh's Breath, the actions of the Communist Party before & after this winter easily justify economic re-adjustments as far as incentives to bring the manufacturing and jobs for medical supplies back to the U.S., and also military & civilian electronics. Although poorly made goods that have given China it's reputation... There's no way our domestic industry can compete, there. I doubt the American consumer will pay more for bad products. I think that's called market feedback. Thus, just Like always, competition will drive quality here. ( except in government programs, where bribery is the dominant factor ) |
