Well, I live just a few miles east of Seattle in Redmond. About 3 mi. from the nursing home where quite a few elderly died a week or so ago. I’m still working, going to the store etc. no zombie apocalypse so far. I’m diggin’ the lack of traffic though, like riding around 20 years ago! I am taking this serious although. | ||

This is serious .... particularly to folks of diminished health ..... As is the case every flu season. As of this afternoon, the USA has averaged 7 fatalities from WuFlu per state. Pause a moment, and read this ^ again. So far, there's been something like 1 fatality per 1,000,000 Americans. Not surprisingly, most of the deceased were technically "elderly," and nearly 100% had significant existing comorbidities. The alleged severity and lethality of the ChiCom flu is a hoax. Wag the dog. Trayvon Martin on steroids. "OMG, our president is a Russian agent!" didn't work. Impeaching him for abuse of power and obstruction of justice (I still wonder how one can obstruct an investigation that was founded with no predicate...) didn't work. And dammit, none of the Democrap candidates have gained enough traction to seriously threaten at the polls P45 come November. (On a positive note for the Dammitcraps, however, is that they've been able to put Corn Pop on a shelf for the time being - out of sight, out of mind - and have precluded, temporarily at least, P45 from holding anymore MAGA/KAG rallies (which routinely receive north of 100,000 ticket requests...) So what do you do, if you're trying to avoid justice, in the lead-up to one of the most important presidential elections in the history of our nation? Drop an economic MOAB on America, with the giddy, breathless assistance of the Fake News? (Not "fake," as in they lie ((although they routinely do)), but "fake" in that they're actually front agencies pretending to be news agencies. Y'all understand this distinction, right? What exactly do you suppose P45 is trying to convey when he so often calls them out as "fake news" and "enemies of the people"?) ***************************** As always, I give all due credit to the Bad Guys: they certainly know how to fight. And lie. And cheat. It's a lot easier, of course, when you own 90% of the ENTIRE FRIKKIN' MEDIA MACHINE in this country. The D'rats are desperate to avoid justice. So much so, they've emptied a 12-gauge into the economic heart of America, hoping we'll bleed out long enough to impact the upcoming election. It's P45 they want, but they've been unsuccessful (until now) in slowing him down. So, they're attempting to murder enough of US instead, in the hopes it damages our President enough come November to give them even the slightest chance to insert another fundamental change agent who'll say "How high?" when they say "Dance!" All to keep the $oylent greenbacks flowing, and..........to avoid justice. Many of our previous government officials are guilty of treason, IMO. Some, based on my read, are guilty of crimes even worse than that. What would YOU do, if you were one of these people, and had the power to avoid justice? How far would YOU go? ***************************** When we recover from this (which we will, and it'll happen quickly), what's the next "Hands up, don't shoot!" lined up and ready to load into the media breach? It'll have to be even worse than what's presently taking place (as hard as this is to believe) for it to have any effect. | ||

World cases, excluding China, have doubled in the past 3 days. Do the math on that rate of growth for the next few months. Have you seen what's happening in Italy? Numerous other countries? There's no doubt this will be a political lever used against Trump, but it's not a fake crisis. | ||

A lot of folks want President Trump to do more... our Constitution limits the powers of the President inside the borders of the US! The president can’t call up the National Guard, the only tool the President has is to activate Guard forces to title 10 status, that’s Federal Status, which places those forces in violation of Posse Comitatus act of 1878, by President Hays, a Republican, with the goal of limiting federal power and authority over the people, which prohibits Federal Forces from providing police actions. It’s a federal law.. only the state Governor can activate Guard forces in a title 32 (state status NOT Federal) which is how we avoid violation of the federal law. Governors need to provide state level direction from the recommended of the President and hold Mayors responsible. We are bound and hindered by our constitution that allows the uninformed and idiots to banter without repercussion. I’d write much more and in-depth, from professional and personal experience and actual training and execution not parroting what I read or hear, but honestly I no longer protect the masses, I simply have a family to protect. | ||

And what's the mortality rate for folks who've tested positive? Today's rough average of 1 death per 1,000,000 Americans seems pretty modest, no? Finally, I hope that China's numbers are decreasing, but who's providing these numbers? Is the source trustworthy? Have you seen what's happening in Italy? Sure, I'm reading everything I can find. Are you comparing Italy's healthcare system to ours? There's no doubt this will be a political lever used against Trump... It already is. Fb1, You are right, in that I should have written President Trump. I usually do, I was just being lazy and I admit it, it wasn't my way of slighting or disrespecting him in any way. And I'll admit to being touchy. Been a bad day. I do think you were being a bit passive aggressive, but I knee jerked reacted instead of calmly responding and I apologize for that. As to your question, I really don't know. He's between a rock and a hard place. Some say he didn't do enough soon enough, others that he is overreacting. I personally think it's better to be safe than sorry. I do believe this is a targeted attack on the President, the Country, and Western Civilization as a whole. A biological attack followed by massive leftist propaganda and a push for national socialism. But I have no proof of this, and could be completely out of my mind paranoid. It wouldn't be the first time my paranoia got the best of me. I do know one thing for sure: President Trump has asked us to hunker down for two weeks, and I'll give him that time. |
