It was just Steak N Shake, they took down the server due Pwnzor's heresy. How can one man have so much disdain for the best fast food burgers and shakes in the US?
For penance, down a Bacon and Cheese Double Steakburger and a Banocolate shake.
Jack, In n Out, and What a Burger are a few of the chains I've yet to try, just due to their lack of having locations in the north east. As it stands, Steak N Shake holds top ranking in my list, and you bet I'll be detouring the one in Raleigh on the way down next week! (Although screw the counter service locations they seem to be opening, they got like only half the menu of the ones with full wait service)
Let me just say that I may have been a bit harsh in my judgement of S&S.
I guess I just need to carry cash to tip with in the future.
You know what does suck? Their chili. When I order chili fries, I expect PASTE. A pre-macerated, partially congealed, greasy mess that coats my french fries the same way it will coat my arteries.
The burgers are actually not bad. But Jack's are definitely better, and they have these horribly greasy little tacos that they deep fry that are for some reason totally addictive.
It’s google dns. I confirmed this a few days ago. I sent Blake a screenshot of nslookup resolving badweatherbikers.com using open dns, and timing out using google. Nothing you can do except switch dns providers. Use L3 or open dns and you won’t have these intermittent issues accessing badweb.
I doubt they are related. Youtube was down regardless of which dns server people used. Google also doesn’t process zone lookups correctly, so if you’re trying to use, for instance, spamhaus’s rbl, the lookup will fail. I abandoned google dns a long time ago.
