that he did, still has 4 left... 2 black and 2 yellow but i gathered early on that they are not near cheap enough for this need. especially with only 200-400 miles on them, and my need to repay the money i bummed to buy the fleet. |

Tommy, You need a new bike. Work on that. Get insurance, too. It just makes sense and is the right thing to do. Took me a while to sort out the comments about your son...premature still born? I'm sorry for your loss. God has him safe and sound, rest assured. Painful for you and your girlfriend nonetheless. Can you get a bus ride to a used Buell, buy it and ride it home? Can the company you work for float you a small loan and take the balance out of your paycheck gradually? |

No Rice - After the shutdown, what did they start using for the course? |

Most places kept using the blast. We just shut down our class. Not because of the Buell shut down, but because the space requirements were changed and we couldn't come up with a suitable location that met hd's requirements. But the shops that did, just kept using blasts until the hd street models came out not long ago. |

Really? What does the 220 word run on sentence with 9 missellings do for your taste on written discourse? Bothers me not at all. I've been here long enough to watch all of you err - including the above sentence. Consider the message in the words, since even with the errors the message is true - and on that please act. EZ |

Helping your fellow man out has never gone out of style - we even have a pay it forward section here on the BADWEB - nothing political here - just a fellow Bueller asking for a hand. Pretty sure I've seen that happen here more than once - lol EZ |

I was on a flight a few weeks ago and the flight was running late plus it was towards the end of the flight day. It was a full flight and we were landing at one of this airline's hubs with lots of connecting flights so there were more than a few anxious passengers in a hurry to deplane and make their connection which was most likely the last flight out of the day. As we taxi to the gate a flight attendant gets on the horn and asks everyone who does not have a rushed connecting flight to keep their seats and let the passengers with a short connection time get off first. As the plane halts at the gate many stand up to grab their bags from the overhead and stand in the aisle waiting to deplane. Quite a few who do not have a connecting flight remain seated. Unfortunately there was a delay in the gateway hookup. This made those with connecting flights even more apprehensive to the point that a passenger towards the rear of the plane yells, "sit the down now. If you don't have a flight get out of the aisle and sit the down now!". I didn't hear any of the other passengers say anything but I do know we all stood up at that point and filed out of the plane a row at a time. My take away from that experience, it seems even in times of need one has the potential to catch more flies with honey than vinegar. |

Maybe this thread needs to have a few posts removed. The first two replies about punctuation should have been sufficient. There are three of us suggesting that the frame might be damaged, no idea how hot things really got, but normally fires like this mess up the metal. I would differ to EZBlast on this. Wish I had some parts for you, but I don't think any XB parts will work. Got a few things if they will. |

Ferris had a nice ritual as well, he parked his old bike and his new bike nose to nose with front wheels touching. He says it transfer the karma. And move the old bars to the new bike. You remain holding on to them then. |

"I've been here long enough to watch all of you err" Got a mirror? I've found that I really should just stare at myself in a mirror every now and then. That way I can kinda anticipate people's reaction to me. |

This reminds me of a fellow that set the wheels of his blast aflame in order to get the tires off. Get a new bike. Finance if you have to. Sell valuables if needed. We've all been in a similar place at one point or another. Part of life is figuring it out. Insurance is cheap on such bikes. Even full coverage is surprisingly low. Considering the myriad of misfortunes that can befall a street bike, it would be well worth it. |
