Yeesh! What Hybrid said- if this was your only set of wheels, I sure hope you had insurance on it... otherwise, work on plan B, if one exists. That said, there's no better place than BW to see about rebuilding that bike. Sounds like it's pretty personal/sentimental to you, good luck. |

First: Proper grammar costs nothing. A comma and period (JUST ONE!) would help. Anyway Good luck man, I got no blast parts to send your way...Heck, I dont even have any blast parts period. Or a blast. |

Probably going to be cheaper to get a used Blast and do parts swaps into your existing bike so you can preserve the VINs A fire means you really can't trust any part without a complete tear-down. ... and WTF is it with the grammar nazis? This man makes an honest appeal for help!? This chickenshit is more like a punk-assed stuntbiker comment. |

I'd try looking for another blast. They are all over the place. http://www.cycletrader.com/Buell-Blast-Motorcycles ----CycleTrader.com/search-results?type=356953&mak e=Buell|2315776&model=Blast|764854807&modelkeyword=1&sort =price:asc&newsort=1 The burned out one will probably cost more in parts and labor then a slightly used one. |

I have a rear plastic (in blue) and a belt. They've been in my garage for years. PM an address and I'll get them in the mail. On a side note...Insurance is cheap. At least cheaper than a lawsuit or worse. Get some!!!! |

Brother, I know this bike meant a lot to you, but maybe there is something to be read into the way it was lost. I hate to suggest it, but you might not have been meant to cling to it any longer and God made it easy for you. That said, I think a whole used bike is not that bad of an idea at this point. |

I saw a used blast on Craigslist near me, guy claims it doesn't run, could be anything, but maybe enough of the blast survived the fire to make it work http://newyork.craigslist.org/jsy/mcy/5088626754.h tml |

Plenty of Blast's for sale in your area. But I can also agree, sometimes cheap isn't cheap enough. These are just a few, more are out there. http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/mcy/5053916902.htm l http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/mcy/5085850171.htm l http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/mcy/5078986063.htm l http://cfl.craigslist.org/mcd/5069512662.html http://fortmyers.craigslist.org/col/mcy/5083746002 .html |

Frogs might have your best option- if the fella up there has a heart, maybe he'd work with you to get that bike shipped down to FL. Otherwise, maybe Megabus up, rent a U-Haul, load up and roll back home to FL... Chances are that'd be your best $$$ choice. I've rarely seen a Blast that cheap. Henshao might be onto something too- the EASIEST thing, period, would be staying up on Craigslist with $$$ in hand until a low-cost, running bike pops up, no matter it's not a Blast. Save up some $$$ for later, do a custom paint job that'll warm your heart. Good luck, keep us posted on things as they progress. |

@Tommygunz. Learn to punctuate, bro. It's not that hard and makes reading your post so much easier. Maybe YOU know what you are typing, but you are trying to communicate with other people. What you wrote is ridiculous. Even more so because you are asking for "donations." This is a period -----> . |

I would expect that the frame is damaged and would replace it, that means you really should buy a complete Blast and start over. Otherwise I don't have any blast parts here. |

That would honestly be one of my biggest fears. Frame could have been weakened or damaged by the fire, then next nasty pothole rips the motor mount off or worse. |

OK. Okay. Our abilities to effectively and gracefully communicate have eroded. This poor fella probably doesn't know the difference... I'm using a QWERTY board, with some efficacy and dexterity, it's only taken me 48 years. Cut the guy some slack. @dude- I'd not try to rebuild the bike, given the sum total of good info to date in this thread. |

PLEASE HELP ME ...with punctuation? WOW !! A person comes on here for help and this is what he gets. As for the original post. check with some of the H/D dealerships selling surplus Blasts from their riders classes. A friend just bought one with less than 900 miles for 1100 dollars. Yes it was sort of beat up. But a LOT of good parts |

oh you guys are just being grammar nazis.... lol Im glad others see how difficult it is to read. I do agree with the others, just buy another bike. I am sure most of us arent rich or super well off, but is it worth the risk? And as far as not buying insurance, dude, how much can it possibly be to insure a blast? Now think about what this project will cost in time and parts. Best of luck to you There are some incredible people on this board, to see how people pull together to help others out (ie Glitch) is amazing. Im hoping it works out for you too |

Using my Sherlock skills of deduction - I can tell that this guy, Tommygunz001, works for the richest company in the world and is a Republican/Conservative. How do I know this? Because the richest company in the world is WalMart and the only people that shop there are freedom-loving rednecks. Hence, all of the welfare taxes that I am paying are going directly to the Republican/Conservative party. At least I'm not paying for an 0bamaphone. Or am I??? |

It's getting the point where the very few here who spew the vitriol are souring my taste for written discourse. This man pleads for help, none of us knows his situation in life, but obviously he heard about this board somewhere, that it might be a good place to look for some help. Some pick apart his grammar, others cast their lot and throw politics into the mix. Take your hate somewhere else. 136 posts in 11 years, and all I can remember of this Buellinmke guy is the sheer idiocy of his misplaced comments. Personally, I wouldn't trust the frame of any motorcycle that's been in a fire. Maybe I don't know enough about the effects of fire on steel or chromoly or whatever the frame is made of, but I think I'm one who errs on the side of caution. Time for a new bike. |
