At the same time . . . it's fabulous to see our membership.
During the course of these years we've watched great website come and go. Badweb is here and healthy.
I've met most my best friends here and I've met nearly 5,000 Buell owners over the years. I consider the diversity here to be one of the gifts I've received in life. The fact that we squabble from time to time is of no worry or consequence.
I've been on the "wrong" side where I got out of line and the resolution has always been handled kindly and no one holds grudges.
There are a host of folks (and a dandy story brewing that at least one Badwebber is familiar with yesterday) who have opinions that vary from mine.
The classic that goes back to the early years of Buell is my beloved and dear friend Mr. Gess who has a decidedly flawed political viewpoint.
I've had him in a 20 year "correction" program and I'm not sure if I've lost or gained ground. But, even with me being right and him being wrong, he's always been there for me through the most difficult and trying times with a smile and great advise.
I'm getting less and less visible in the world of Buell . . it's time for a new breed and that's as it should be. But I've learned a lot and am grateful.
