I'm planning on TS garage Friday morning. Would love to go for a ride with a bunch of Buells if anyone want to include me......Is there a certain day you guys will be up at the races or just heading up there randomly?? | ||

Tim, I think we need to have an intervention for you. Your priorities need some realigning.  RD and I will be going up Sat. morning and we'll be at TS' Friday so we can discus it then. I'll be changing over to the XB rocker covers this weekend and as long as I'm in that area I'm going to replace my injector O-rings and the throttle body to intake gasket. Last year I did my intake gaskets with no luck......When I see you Friday you take her for a ride and see if you can give me a few more suggestions........ | ||

No doubt. I have new shoes on both bikes, but I don't care to do burnouts all that much. Guess I could try to do one, but it might be ugly. Plus, I have no tattoos, so EB will probably be disappointed. | ||

i know i know, i suck at life! i really have been slacking. and i really would like to get up there to see my old friends, but my coworker some how finagled his way into getting every other saturday off which basically screws me... as for the burnout, i dont think ive done one since then, except maybe a short little rolling one going down the highway or something just playing around. seems as though i do them maybe once a decade... lol. im not big on destroying expensive things either(thats why that was a customers take off uly tire just for the occasion!) | ||

I've touched base with a reliable source at EBR (Kim) and we're cleared for landing at EBR on Thursday. Ground rules: We're to stay on the north side of the building/parking lot, same as the last couple of years. They'll open the old lobby for us to access restrooms and they MAY have a bike or two to fondle. Sorry. Not the new ones, but the 1190RS and MAYBE a race bike if the race team doesn't leave early. Emphasis on MAYBE. Kim is also seeing about possibly having an EBR rep or two available to give us a guided "tour" of the bikes and answer questions. Again: POSSIBLY, but also AWESOME! Bring questions. We're limited to accessing the old lobby. No tours or main building entry, which should shock no one. The new/current lobby is to be considered off-limits for us and is not to be accessed. Please don't press the issue and put the rest of us at risk of losing a welcome. I told Kim she could shoot anyone who feels they are exempt and tries. Some folks at EBR haven't experienced a Homecoming and may pop out to say hello and mingle. I don't want to sound like your Dad, but...behave! I'll have the shirts at EBR for those picking up there, and will transport them to RA for those that requested it. I may have some "spares", so feel free to ask. I'll forward my cell phone number to you folks who have reserved a shirt so we can connect...or at least you to me! I'm sure I'm forgetting some info. Let me know what. I personally plan to arrive on Wednesday afternoon and will be staying at the Alpine...if I ever make a reservation. I'll be at TS's Garage and Restaurant Friday morning and plan to head to RA Friday afternoon to maybe catch AMA practice. All else is up in the air, as usual and planned, unless stuff get locked in here in the next week. Gus's for sure, Roma's? Those of you with social media pages: Pass it on! | ||

It was taken this morning in Hamilton, OH a testament to yesterday's WINDY and COLD ride from Eastern NC. I arrived in East Troy this evening, 4° warmer than when I left NC, but MUCH wetter. Well the rain gear was wet, not me. The blisters aren't as bad anymore, but will soon be drained of their fluid. 1313 | ||
