I hope there is an announcement before then, but the right thing to do is not announce until you are ready to ship, its right, and its ready. |

Here's the "Dealers list". Be aware that at least "some" of these aren't actually signed up as dealers, but have had discussions with EBR about being a dealer. Talking about it and putting bikes on the floor are very different things. Looks like OH is still being neglected though. http://www.ebrdealer.info/list.htm |

F&S might have done it if the old owner was still the owner, but he's gone now and I'm sure they are struggling to survive with the Harley mandated store upgrades and resulting debt. Iron Pony ought to become an EBR dealer, that would be a GREAT match. |

we had a handful of the COBRA members send them a email requesting they become a E.B.R. dealer It would be nice but I'm not holding my breath |

I've read that Hero's new EBR-designed bike(s) should be released in Nov. 2013. Is there any info out there to confirm that what EBR will show at AIM are their US-market bikes? (Message edited by buellkowski on February 20, 2013) |

Looks like actual model info will be out much sooner than the October date of the show. www.ccsracing.us "Also EBR (Erik Buell Racing) intends to have support for their street bike when it is available mid-season." |

No such announcement of either product availability or contingency support has come from EBR, so have no idea why CCS is posting this. |

I convinced a guy looking at a KTM RC8 to wait until the EBR announcement. |

I recently bought a new bike. I am of the old school of thought, "s&*t or get off the pot". Tell me what you got coming and I might wait. At the very least, reveal the price points. That's the main reason I didn't wait for EBR's new bikes. I figure they are going to be way out of my price range based on the cost of the 1190. A little "Starting at $11,900" would have gone a long way in my book. If I was in marketing for EBR, I'd be leaking shots of the bikes every chance I got. Show vids of them in endurance testing. Show them being abused within an inch of their lives. Show Erik and the team designing the bike and engine. Show schematics. Show exploded diagrams. Show patents. Reveal it all. It's a new era of marketing these days. We live in a time of "instant gratification". This "wait till we're ready" crap is so 1980. No one waits anymore. We want it NOW. Any marketing guru knows you don't sell the steak, you sell the sizzle and smell. Time to start fanning some of the smoke and letting us get a sniff. October might as well be 100 years from now. |

Chad- price points for the 1190RX, AX, and SX have been stated by EBR: "less than $20k". Check some of the industry mag interviews with Erik for confirmation. I'm guessing that would have been out of your price range anyway. |

Technically $19,999 is under $20K. That would be out of most people's price range. |

^ I'm sure the MSRP will be something close to that. Not remotely cheap, but in a lot more people's price range than the $40k 1190RS. |

EBR needs to get prices $12-14,000 range to really sell bikes. Ducati can get away with 20k bikes because people put ducatis on a pedestal |

EBR needs to build a reliable bike not some piece of junk needing updates every time you twist the throttle. |
