The Swastika is actually an altered depiction of the Cross.
It's also a Hindu symbol.
Unfortunately it's now a depiction of hate due to the Nazis.

If by "Swastika" you refer to the symbol of the NAZI party and if by "the Cross" you mean the symbol of Christianity, then you are actually presenting an altered depiction of truth, most commonly known as "falsehood."

Actually the Swastika predates Christianity and has been used by many religions and people over time. I apparently should have said a cross not THE cross. However The Celtic people used it and they were at the time Christian so...
Either way you have once again twisted my words to suit your needs and then followed it with a jab.

You had it right the first time when you admitted that "I apparently should have said a cross not THE cross."
You had also capitalized the word "Cross", which would seem to indicate an importance beyond a general geometric shape.
So I don't think I twisted the meaning at all. I think you communicated your intended meaning very poorly. |

Why isn't the Swastika the symbol of Socialism?
The Swastika is one of those perfectly good religious symbols perverted by such an evil that the swastika itself is banned in many places.
Hindu, Native American, Celtic, all used the "broken cross" as a meditation aid, symbol for eternity, etc. Hitler screwed it up for us all.
It sucks when a perfectly good thing is perverted by evil. I'd have to ask what sin that is, exactly... defile? Profane? ....ah! Desecrate!
The symbol(s) of socialism? Hammer & Sickle, an all red flag, etc.
There are many others stolen from others and perverted to fool the people, like the Planet Earth, the color Green, and Birds, usually Eagles. |

Sorry you can't see real racism where it exists. Spike Lee is in fact a racist. He simply gets a pass on it because he's black. Same standard where a black can use the "N" word, but it's so racist for a white guy to use it that we have to call it "the "N" word". I'm not the only one that saw the racism in it either. So if you insist on continuing with this loser of an argument, you diminish only your own credibility. Telling me to STFU doesn't help your case much either.  |

I keep coming out left/libertarian.....and anyone further left than ME is nuts! IMHO 
Unlike the web site who came up with this test, I would rate the current Prez hard left/high authoritarian, and most of his czars rank left of Stalin..... their Idol. ( if they aren't bigger fans of the philosopher Mao.....the biggest mass murderer, ever. )
You really have to wonder about the mental state of someone who admires the biggest mass murderer in human history. |
