Wheely,
I too had a 1976 Datsun 620(?)
It was my 2nd. 1st was a 1966 Nova Wagon.

Cowboy,
Like I wrote. Don't need 'em. I just love all those gears. My favorite truck I used to drive was a Frieghtliner car hauler w/ a 20spd spicer. Used to go through 6 gears before getting across an intersection. I do miss it sometimes. I hear now they have automatic trannys in big rigs, what fun is that ? I don't think I would be interested in one at all.

Ariel Atom.

2.0l I4. 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. And that's the *base* version (not the supercharged I4, or the V8)!

The Kamala, formerly made by kit company Dax. Probably one of the strangest-looking cars ever... like a futuristic robot platypus. Powered by a 340 hp Cosworth (Ford?) turbocharged 4 cylinder. 0-60 in 3.9 seconds!

Sleez,

is that a Vector?

Far as I know, they were the first production car to have antilock brakes. Took then off an airplane I think.

I know they're hand made, and not built until you buy it, but it was still considered a production car.

I've tried to get into the spirit here, spent a day pondering it while I was riding around, and after due consideration, I would buy a Harley Ultra Classic, A BMW HP2 Megamoto, A Moto Morini Granpasso, A KLR 650 and a Harley Street Bob.

To put in the shed I would get an Arlen Ness original and a variety of Classic Triumphs and Nortons.

The closest I got to a car was a Can-am Spyder.

'spose there are some cool convertibles?
What about open wheelers - there are some legal ones of them now too huh?

Edit - Yeah that atom pic took ages to load - that's the gear. Problem is you are at everyone else's exhaust pipes.

"1953-55 Studebaker hardtop. I'm told Erik is also partial to these."

The first time I saw Erik he pulled up to East
Troy High School, where we were running BattleTrax,in a mid 50's Studebaker.
I knew right then that I was going to like him.

Current state:

Go power supplied by a '98 LS1/4L60e combo, full air ride shockwaves, I've designed inboard suspension front and rear.

No GM came with 302 in 67,69 and several in the 70's it was essentailly a 400 small block with like a 283 crank in the 70's models.
The Cammarro ss and z-28 in 67/69 came with a 302 dual quad motor from the factory
http://www.holisticpage.com/camaro/camaros/302.htm
and for the non believers
