I have been thinking about getting some pazzo or crg levers for a while now but just cant bring myself to spend $180+ on them. They do look great and it would be nice to easily adjust the clutch. But is it worth it?? | ||

haha yes very true. There are alot of things one can do with that much money haha. Like spend more on the bike!  I am just curious to see if riders that bought them thought it is worth it? | ||

You can get the plain ones and have them powder coated. I've thought about them just to make the reach on the clutch a little easier. | ||

definitely worth the price. adjustability, looks, easier to pull. probably one of my favorite mods I've done. not at all about bling- in fact they stand out less than my stosk silver ones. it's all about performance for me- and I will now never own a bike without having adjustable levers. | ||

I have the Pazzo, IMO the CRG and the Pazzo are the same, it's like buying Nikes or Pumas. They are definitely a very functional and ergonomic improvement, but they are way overpriced for manufacturing costs, and so is every other aftermarket bike part. If you want to spend the money, then they are worth it. | ||

For me it was worth it. When I'm riding the twisty stuff, I like the clutch a little closer (looser) to my hand. I don't need to "stroke" the clutch as far when I'm hot-rodding around. But when I get into town, traffic, stop and go, lane splitting, etc.... when I pull in the clutch, I need a full disengagement. So I can adjust the lever "out" a few clicks to give me some more stroke. I know that I could do that with the stock adjustable levers as well, but not with a quick flick on the fly. And with another quick flick, I can adjust the brake in a little for that lane splitting, stop and go traffic that doesn't need a full stroke like a hairpin at the end of a 90mph straightaway. And as a bonus, they do look kinda nice. I have the Pazzo's. If changing on the fly is not important to ya, then it's all cosmetics. just my $.02. | ||

they are definitely worth the reduced amount that i have spent buying used. i really feel that they should not cost more than 110 a set. the short ones haven't touched the ground when i have dropped the bikes that i have them on. (s1&1125)some of the Japanese bikes use at least the same brake lever. tim | ||

i love mine,have them on both buells. i like the fact you can adjust while ridein especially with brake fade when ridein hard. the brake levers on stock buells are adjustable and besides i like to support a fairly local business. | ||

I love my Pazzo levers. I bought the shorties because I like to use just three fingers on levers. The adjustability is the other reason I bought them. The price is steep, but I would never go back to stock...and yes, they look tough. | ||

Frankly, I admit I did buy them for bling when my bike was selected for the New York Bike show. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that they are a real improvement over the stock levers. That said, they still seem to be overpriced for what one gets. just my .02¢ | ||

The first set of Pazzos I bought years ago was for looks and because they were shorter than stock. I immediately learned how superior they are. The adjustability is a wonderful feature, and they really do look trick- but being short is what makes all the difference for me. I use two fingers on the brake and three on the clutch. When riding with "shorty" levers, the ball end of the lever snugs up against my outside fingers, and the result is better leverage. For me, this makes the lever action easier, more positive, and imparts better feel. After discovering how superior they are, I have installed either Pazzo or CRG shorty levers on every bike since. It is a must-have upgrade in my experience. If you shop around, it's not uncommon to find discounted levers- I have never paid more than about $160 a set. | ||

I have the pazzos and love them, but they were on the bike when I got it and if they hadn't I'm not sure whether I would have seen it as a worthwhile investment | ||

I bought some CRG shorties along with some Buell traction grips mainly for the bling factor and was surprised to find how awesome they made the bike feel. They are a lot thicker than the stock ones and give it a really nice solid feel. They look like something off a MOTO GP bike and its a mod you get to feel and see every time you ride. After finding a set up i like, i havent realy changed the position much but its nice to have an option to, especially if in slow traffic on the clutch hand, to let different parts of the hand take the heat. I guess the only negative is the price, but its a one time buy unlike tires/oil/gas/insurance etc and it really finishes the look of the bike off. anyway CRG or Pazzo ,look the same to me, pazzo has more colors though are very cool, definately worth it. | ||

Thanks redbuelljunkie I have been looking but never see any on forums and hardly ever do on ebay either. I can get them for 180 shipped but thats the best Ive seen. Any good ideas as where to look? | ||

They are definitely worth it IMO. Specially the Clutch lever. It's so much closer to the handle bars. | ||

Badbueller- Google is your friend, my friend. I don't bother with eBay anymore. There are amazing treasures to be found 20-30 pages into a google search. Contacting dealers works too- there are many manufacturers who require retailers to list their products at full retail price, but they will sell to you for less if you ask. When I was recovering from my accident, I had all day to search the internet for deals on motorcycle equipment... I was amazed at what I found. Good things are floating around out there- you just have to reach out and grab them. | ||

Hmmm...kinda like 20" wheels on your Honda Civic. Umm, not really... rather more like installing a Momo steering wheel- it provides a different feel, upgrades the look, and adds functionality. I can use one, two, three OR four fingers with the stock levers!!! And there's no restriction on finger use with Pazzo, CRG, ASV, or the other lever options. Every rider is different, and everyone has their own style. The aftermarket levers allow you to choose short or long lengths for your personal preference. But with the stock levers you cannot choose length, color, or adjustability. So, if the stock levers suit you fine- that's great.
