Hi there, my husband was an avid enthusiast. Thought his new XB9S Low was a gift from the motorcycle gods. Has loved it from the moment he sat on it and was truly enjoying this board. He was driving home Wed. evening and another vehicle pulled a left right in front of him. He had no time to do anything and died about 1 1/2 hours later. He loved riding and I comfort myself that Al went doing something he just loved to do.
Thanks Carolyn

Carolyn, so sad to hear of your loss. You have shown great courage in sharing your grief with the community. I'm sure that I can express our deepest sympathy on behalf of our small group of enthusiasts on this side of the Atlantic. This brotherhood respects no distances or continents. A sad loss.

Carolyn, I know what you're going through so I'll spare you the "I'm so sorry" speech. I know it doesn't help. There is a void now and sadly it doesn't go away. You will adjust however and one day the ache will be lessened and you will find strength in the memories. Just remember the bad with the good. It's important to maintain balance. Al sounds like a great guy and he was blessed to have gone out doing that which he loved doing. Few men are ever so blessed. I wish such tragedies never happened, but such is life. Please honor him by continuing to live, and to love. It will be hard but you have your friends & family and everyone here at BadWeb to turn to for support. We're here for you. You have our support and our love.

As I add my voice to those that send our heartfelt condolences, know that while our brotherhood of Buellers/Bikers is lessened only a fraction of own.. Know that we are always here, friends unmet in person, but bound by our common passion, we grieve with you...

Carolyn,
Whether your husband ever expressed this or not, we are all blessed by our wives (or others) that allow us to ride or ride with us. We all thank you for letting Al enjoy the years he had here with you and with riding motorcycles.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
