So, i've been looking around for a new timing cover for my XB9R. And all i've found is a carbon fiber one. I'm kinda looking for something chrome. Any ideas where i could find one?

There was a thread on this about a month ago. Glitch and a few other guys have some kick ass covers. I followed suit and bought the HD Skull cover for a Sportster.
(this one is from the thread not mine)

I've had the same problem Manimal. I just can't find anything that really grabs me enough to put it on my CityX.

That's why there's custom machiners out there.

Check out this guy, seems to have a lot of cool covers if they'll fit. Just adds fuel to the fire whether it's a Harley or not. Personally I don't care, I like it.

Glitch, how much did it cost to have that thing machined?

Mike Norris from Norris Performance made it for me. I think Mike charges something like $150 for a custom design.
He also makes the covers that Drummer sells.
So, if you have a Drummer, and want a Drummer cover, www.kdfab.com/Accessories.htm

If they'll fit a Sportster, they'll fit a Buell.

The Pangal one looks rather appropriate for a Lightning, or a Firebolt for that matter, doesn't it?

That's because it looks so good, and really fits in with the theme of your bike.

Aragosta: I like your see through inspection cover. Where did ya get it? did you fabricate it? As Jay Lennon once said "I do not trust a bike that I cannot see through". I like the mechanical look.

I have a strange question.
How come some of you have timing covers with fasteners at the 9 and 3-o-clock positions, while others have them at 10:30/5:30?
Do you other guys just run a little bit late?? (yeah, I know it was a bad pun, but it had to be said)
