Flapjack, Court was referring to the correction made earlier to Jim Bantz's zip code, not yours.

correct address to mail checks to for the 202.989 shirts:

Mr. Jim Bantz
1701 S. Jefferson St.
Hartford City, IN 47348

I wonder how many states my check has been in so far. JB2, if you get the shirt order and check I sent, check out how many postal jurisdictions it went through. I haven't gotten it back yet so it's still out there somewhere. Jeez, sending a check with the wrong zip code is akin to my meandering on a Buell. If the U.S. Postal Service wants $40.00 postage for all the destinations my poor check has been, tell them it's Court's fault. All you elves assaulting Uke's--ENJOY!!! You deserve it!

Aaron my dear friend, that is a beautiful gift and one I shall treasure in my 'trophy cabinet'. Tell you what mate, the more I see that S2 it just gets meaner. Looks way more angry than the RR does. You built a great motorcycle, and yes I do mean YOU, because you conceived it mate, and it's a great looking Buell. Like you guys say, I'm stoked.

Next year will be better too, damn the rain, and I tell you what mate, I'll behave myself next year, I promise :)

Thankyou guys, for this whole AMA thread. It's been great stuff, keep it up :) And seeing as I'm getting bollocked for doing this ?, as opposed to this?, can you guys 'n' gals please try to 'highlight' quotation, pleeze ?

I'm with Roger and Bob on the racer stuff, and that's what I perceive of the British and World SB series, from reading the British motorcycling press, and I can't wait to see what next season will bring in ALL the series.

And I AGREE six zillion percent with Jose, even if Court, or Erik come to that, doesn't

Oh and that reminds me, about my post the other night, the Firebolt needing more SPEED thing, I just write it, that's it. I pick it up in my head, think about it, put it together, and hey presto, press GO. When I read it to myself I'm thinking 'these dudes must think I'm a bloody idiot', but hey it doesn't matter I enjoy it, so I have to tell ya, when you guys get to agreeing with me, that puts a shit eetin' grin across me chops, I can tell ya, thanks :)

Talking of SPEED.......Cyclerama satisfy your need for speed.........is just such a great line, if you'll pardon the pun, and so goes a bloody big kiss from me to you Pammy, Queen of the Universe, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Babe XX I really missed you two (2) this year :) :) :)

Rocket " I tell you what mate, I'll behave myself next year, I promise "

Just spewed my lunch all over the keyboard.
Rocket can we have that statement signed and in PDF format. !!!!!!

You could'nt behave your self if you tried with a tail wind and rolling downhill.

Besides if you did it would'nt be you, and what would I do with this Fluro Pink mini-skirt I am working on for next year.

In the very back of the Dec 2002 issue of Cycle World (page 129) is a letter to the Service column asking about a motorcycle lift that doesn’t cost an arm and leg. The service guy recommends a Sears Craftsman lift (Part Number 50190) that costs $119.00.

That lift wouldn’t work on a Buell as it is a platform type lift that would be used on a bike with a double cradle type frame. However it is on sale for $100.00 and might be useful to you if you have a snowmobile, dirt bike or ATV. You could get an extra 10% off if you have a Craftsman Club card.

It might be a good Christmas present for your wife.

Aaron: Go see Kim in the morning (around 10:00am) and get two boxes of shirts. I'll call when I hit O'Hare with instructions.

Henrik is in the basement packaging TEAM ELVES gear. With some luck we'll get an hours sleep.

Can't wait!

IAMike,
You are correct. The HOV lanes up here are open for 2 wheels as are the ramp meter bypass lanes.
Really pisses them off when you go past the line of cages at mach 1 only to slow to a crawl at the end of the ramp.

This web site has really become lame; a bunch of die-hards, talking about vague ideals, about this guy Eric, now more myth than reality, about bikes that generate emotion, when they run.

I have been a devoted follower of the Buell philosophy for six years: 2 S3's. Loved them (even when they weren't running), rode the hell out of them (for a few months a year), defended them (even when the defense wasn't really justified).

I've had enough. I am buying a Kawasaki ZZR 1200 this weekend. Can't trade in the Buell: nobody will touch it with a 10 foot pole. I will keep the S3; still love it though I can't trust it to take me very far. BTW, the ZZR-enthusiast website has useful information, rather than the drivel that now pervades this once informative www.

Go ahead and whine about my lack of devotion or my lack of interest in what is really important about motorcycling. Sorry, but I'm not stupid.

Enjoy your discussions about how unfair the AMA is, but I'm out of here.

Jon I feel that you can not see the forest for the trees.I care not what you ride, but that you do ride, and I feel that quite a lot of people on this board feel the same.I myself are between bikes at the moment but in the next 18 hours that will be remedied. This board is a great meeting place for Buell and other motorcycle riders alike.Take for instance the recent small gathering at the Wilson Ranch.Riders of all types of bikes turned up,socialised, danced on tables, and enjoyed each others company. The fact that you ride and enjoy the bike of your choice is great.Myself nor the bugs that smash into you whilst riding do not care what motorcycle you are on. Enjoy life,This is NOT a Dress Rehersal.

What the fook do you expect when you come to a Buell forum Jon?????

See Jon, the thing is, I have this suspicion that most of us Buell owners expect a certain amount of 'trouble' with our Buell's. That said, there still aren't any other bikes on the planet that are anywhere near close to what a Buell is. Not even a ZZR1200, which is a pretty boring ride, unless you're going real fast, IMO anyway. But you know what Jon, everyone's got an opinion as towards Buell's, and pretty much by the dorks that have never ever even ridden a Buell, let alone cocked a leg over one, their opinions are for the most, a big negative, based on exactly what, I dunno. But hell Jon, you know this, and like so many Buellers these days, you choose to 'blame' the not so unhappy Buellers with your own disappointments. Anyway, good luck with your 'ordinary' motorcycle, and I'm sorry that some of us Buell owners are happy owners, not that I might be one of them, but times do change, as well as do attitudes, and when my Buell is turning the world on its axis, there's not another motorcycle on the planet I'd rather be seen on, and you know what Jon, like you're about to discover for yourself, that Kwak will not shake, rattle 'n' roll like a Buell does :)

Paul, any pink mini skirts turn up next year, I'll have to wax my legs

Thanks Rick-a for the tip, I was begining to think that I was being ignored. Now does anyone know which way the threads on the primary sprocket run? Lefty loosey, or righty loosey?

Robbchap: It's righty-loosey, but you're probably gonna need a LONG breaker bar or an impact wrench. If you can break that mother loose without some serious mechanical advantage, you're a lot stronger than I am!

Cicadabike, You only have to lurk with a longer straw: You spit into the bottle before you hit the bottom: The best is still in there.
And when you had asked for advise: Buy a Busa. That is a very well designed machine and not an together bolted contraption. But what the heck: Who said: "Motorcycling is irrational, so why base your choice of rides on reason?"
Have fun with your new toy, keep it on the safe side and don`t spit into full bottles.

Hey Guys, Can any of you fabricate a 60% Buell gastank. Size that is as in Minibike. I got in to this gig at work with some boys makin Brigs and tecumsuh minibikes. Their making Springers etc.
I found a new Murry in the crate with a mono shock but need the tank for the look.
Ive got a local gocarter that can take care of the alcohol Briggs just need to come up with some cosmetics. BTW I could also use a race or S1 flyscreen. Our only stipulation is that it uses a Lawnmower tiller type engine no Z 50s etc.
Winter Project a Buell Minibike. And no I cant use a Blast.Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks, Hillbilly
