Thanks. That Ventura system can turn a Blast into a baby tourer... but baby it ain't cheap! Two largest bags with their mounting system (which can accommodate a number of types of their bags) will run about $600, an enormous amount for two nylon bags and some bent, welded, and painted stock mild steel tube.... or you can go get another bike with built in bags. The windscreen is the largest GIVI model that will fit this bike. It is a universal mount and there are plenty of hardware mounting options in there to put it on a Blast. The quality is very high and I've never adjusted it in the 9000 miles it's been on the bike. | ||

The saddle should be here Monday! In that large Ventura bag, I managed to fit: 2 12 packs of pop, full size bag of chips, 2 lb bag of chicken nuggets, 8 burgers, a quart of vinegar, some spices... and there was still plenty of space in between these items for small stuff... and 2 more compartments that were simple empty. | ||

Titusand ... I once stopped for some "party supplies" on my Goldwing. Put a 24 pack of beer in one saddlebag ... 30 pack of beer in the other (back side of saddlebags is different due to final drive behind the right-hand bag) ... and three 5 liter boxes of wine in the top case ... | ||

The above photo shows the Ventura bag system, almost fully loaded. The bag on the right is the largest model, the one zippered to it on the left the 2nd largest model. Both bags have top handles and straps to work as backpacks, and a zipper along the rear perimeter to zip to each other. Take one bag, and slip the vertical bar into a slot that is sewn therein, then there are 2 quick clips that attach that bag to the rack, then zip the 2nd bag to the first. I can say that even at passing speeds on the expressway-- those bags don't budge! I have enough in here for a 5 day vacation, including 2 pairs of shoes, suit & ties, toiletries, and a minimal tool kit. As you can see there is still room. The rack, as well as the bags, as needed, can be turned 180 degrees so the larger bag can face rearward so there is room for a passenger. | ||

Be sure to weigh that and be aware of the constraints of the bike. You turn that around and add a passenger I predict some of the most amazing handling surprises you can imagine. | ||

Sergent. I talked with Cgent and I ordered exactly the same spec, although mine got dished with a sharp angle and his is curved…. but that's a hand made product for you. I could ride all day on it. Vinyl cover, cross hatch patterned material for driver, plain black for the passenger. Before the comfort bottleneck was the saddle, now that that's been solved, it's the footpegs and leg position, lol. BTW, I found your instructions on carving out the air horn. I believe that I have to do that to get the bike to fully breath at high RPM, and I'm confident I will notice the difference on the expressway. | ||

Either do that or leave the air horn on and by a stack filter and attach to horn - they are cheap and will last forever on a stock airbox setup - see my profile for stock number and people to contact - cut out interior walls, and delete interior filter - that's the best mod, and the nice thing is, you can always go back to stock type if selling or parting out bike.
