Ok, the wife just got a 2005 blast and wanted to get rid of a damaged Jardine noise maker.

So I located a stock muffler. What hardware will I need?

The muffler has a bolt with what appears to be rubber grommets on either side.

If anyone has switched to a jardine please tell me what hardware was left off from the switch.

Thanks.

Make sure it comes with the rear bracket/strap or you'll have make one (not hard). Mostly bolts and spacers washers can be used (but I can't specify as I don't have a jardine). You might need to order the front stock mounting hardware if it wasn't used for the jardine. Install per the manual Wish I could be more help.

PSdont forget to put your jardine up for sale here!

Got it on. The original mounts were still there. And I was able to fashion a strap.

Not only is it much more bearable but it runs better. I suspect that they changed the pipe and didn' t rejet the carbs. So when I changed back it was right.

Now it seems like the throttle is sticking a touch.

Other than that I am very impressed with how this bike runs. It has more get up and go than I expected.
