Some of us who aren't at all mechanically inclined have been busy using the site to gain the confidence to replace the rusted out exhaust with a Jardine and remove the carb for re jetting. The float bowl screws are tight enough that I will ask a friend to do that part as well as drill the air screw plug. I bet I could really mess those up on my own.

Use a new or good quality screwdriver for the float bowl screws. Drilling the plug is actually easy too and both can be done without removing (or loosening) the carb. It takes care/patience.
I applaud you for asking for help though.

Actually, all carb work should be done with new or good quality screwdrivers. Stripping out screws can be a costly error!

The one chance I had to ride this week the weatherman got it completely wrong. Rained as soon as I got 3 miles away from 'home' and stopped when I got back. Wasn't a bad ride, but the Beast was clean when I left and now it's filthy again. I hate cleaning: (
I did spend 4 or 5 hours on the Husquevarna though! (tractor)

Sadly all the blasts are in CA. I'm hoping to get one out in September. They're Just a lot easier and more fun to get out on at a moments notice.
