I'm gonna wait till I get the boot installed first..... I ordered it yesterday. Livermore and Oakland Harley didn't have the boot in stock which seems pretty surprising. So I'll let you know about dropping by sometime this week..... Definitely want to see your buells...... |

Bag91, Let me know if you head out to EZ's! I'll join you if he'll have me over too. I'd like to check out the CBR shock. Check McGuire HD in Walnut Creek. They have been surprising me with what they have in stock for our Blasts'! I may go out today and get a boot for mine. It has a new one, but back-ups are always wise to have! |

That's weird, Oakland advertises a rider's edge class, you think they would have extras about, unless they are hoarding them for their bikes.

Alright Johneblast, depending on when this boot arrives i hope this weekend will work out. Ill let you and EZ know so we can plan it to work out for the three of us. I forgot about Walnut Creek Harley....I go to that Cycle Gear in Pacheco all the time. Anyways ill keep the both of you updated... |

Thanks. I'll plan for it and hope work doesn't require me to work OT. (yes, we are required to work OT this time of year!) Not a bad thing, just gets in the way of "my" time at times. Not complaining, just saying! I'm in Rodeo, so if you wanted to shoot up 80 I'm 1/4 mile from the beginning or end, depending on how you look at it, of Hwy 4. A straight shot from there to Antioch. |

Yea well probably meet in Pacheco at that cycle gear then head out from there. Haven't got my boot yet which is bugging me, so I might just take a trip to the concord Harley.... Well see. I ordered from a Harley dealer in Wisconsin, found it pretty cheap. But haven't received anything just a order confirmation. So I emailed them tonight to see what's going on..... Well see what happens.... |

I found out yesterday that I will definitely have to work this Saturday. Not sure what day this weekend you were planning on, but it looks like I will be stuck with a Sunday option only, for now. Depending on the time, maybe I can go in early and get out early. We'll see. |

Yea EZ im gonna wait till I get the boot for sure....the problem is this harley dealer emailed me back and said they dont have the part in stock even though I remember the web site saying they did, so they said they have ordered it from harley, so when it arrives at the dealer, theyll send it to me.....so its gonna take forever to get to me....im expecting next fri maybe.....which sucks big time. I also went to mcguire harley and they have to order it, so Im just gonna wait. It amazes me that I can go to three dealerships and none have that part....

Cancel your order with the dealer ship and call American Sport Bike. Also get new jets.

DAS-BOOT must be good !!!
The throttle cables adjusted so throttle butterfly opens all the way !!!
Engine timing must be correct !!! |

American Sportbike requires a $20 min order which sucks.....and my jets are correct with needle shimmed. Boot is quiet a few years old.....its the boot.....
