When last reported the Blast was off the road indefinitely with a intake leak problem. I was gonna store it & save for another bike to commute on. Well, wifey is considering a new job that pays substantially less. Consequently, new bike is out of the question. So, I fixed the Blast & added a Givi rack (Thx to Evilbetty) & a top box. So I now have a new commuter bike & the X1 for fun! (The Blast is a lot of fun too)
If anyone mentions CV carb's to me for a few weeks I will probably not react well!
Thx to Swampy, EZ & Gearheaderiko for their help with the repair.
The Blast lives!
I will post a picture once I have changed the oil & removed 6 months of garage grime.

The rack is shown here ( On Evilbetty's post)

IDK the exact model # but I believe it is one of their generic racks.
The top box I purchased is a B370 39 liter monolock box. It came with a different base plate that went onto the rack with just a little finagling.
I hope this answers your question.

Things just keep getting better!
Long story short: I (we) bought a new freezer yesterday. in order to fit it in the garage I had to clean up the 1/2 I use for the bikes. Lo & Behold! Inside a miscellaneous storage box I came across the Superbrace I purchased about 18 months ago.
Install was easy but test ride must wait until tomorrow evening as I have imbibed at least 3 beers today.
