The original saddle (seat) on my BLAST! is terrible ... narrow and mushy ... and I tend to feel as if I'll slide forward.

I talked to a sweet young gal at SARGENT and I think I'd like to have them build me a wider firmer saddle(seat) with a place for my butt (not too big :-) ) Antonia is great to work with on the phone by the way ...

What I'd like is to find a regular or short saddle pan ... even one that's been beat up ... as long as the pan is fine ... so that I can keep my original and send SARGENTS the pan on which to build my new saddle ...

Anybody have an old spare beat up saddle to sell cheap ??? Indiana

The stock Blast saddle does suck.

Consider Corbin, too.

The newer 2006 and up are much better.
Different vendor.

Love love love my Sargent seat! They did a fantastic job transforming my stock seat and it was done in two days!

Not sure if you would run into the same issue, but I bought a low seat off eBay and brought that to them to work on and I was going to keep the original regular seat. They told me they couldnt keep the original seat height (which I wanted) and use the low seat pan....it wouldn't fit right or something like that. I ended up selling the low seat and they transformed my stock seat.

Low seat and "tall" seat are identical except the tall seat has stabilizer flaps that hug the tank. I could see them being concerned about going taller without the tank flaps, but there isnt much else of a difference.

Low seats are a dime a dozen here or on e-bay.Tall seats command a high price. $100 is the new price for either.
Did you do a Badweb classifieds search? Did you email past Blastards who've listed a seat for sale in the "seats" section?I've found just about everything I've ever needed in the Badweb classifieds.
