I noticed an oil spot under my bike 08 blast this morning and when I got a closer look it was running down the clutch cable and dripping right before it got the primary. I cleaned it off and rode home from work so I could see if it was for sure the cable and not the rocker box again and sure enough its the cable. The leak is coming from under the rubber accordion boot on the cable. It has leaked quite a bit of oil cause it was splattered all over the primary and down the side of my bike and even pooled up close to the starter. Why is this happening and how do I fix it.

Where is that located. I read on another site that its under the seat but all I've seen under the seat is the battery and a bunch of wires.

I found it. Dirt Dobbers had got into the end of the tube and had it plugged. the thing has only been sitting for 5 days.

A new one for my dad to use: "Son, one of your headlights is out" "Son, you've got a dead bat in your airbox,"boy, you got dirt daubers in your vent hose..."

It exits the engine case right behind the cylinder, in front of the starter. It ends up under the left side of the frame under the seat (you'd have to pull it out to see the open end).
Did they tell you where its leaking from exactly? Its kinda difficult for the transmission to leak. It can leak where the engine case splits (rare), the output shaft seal (behind the front pulley), otherwise it would be considered a primary chaincase leak (same fluid, different exit).

If the Transmission BREATHER HOSE is PLUGED/PINCHED ("CLOSED") transmission fluid will be forced up the clutch cable and get on your clutch hand ...

Why, you ask ???

Well the engine crank pressure in the engine will move pass the motor sprocket oil seal into the transmission and the clutch cable will act as a breather ...

Next question is why it does not drain back down the clutch cable ???

The cable housing being small and the fluid thick with pressure bing constant out comes the fluid ...
