I am going to buy my first bike, a Blast, and I want to know about the danger or capacity of the Blast doing a stoppie. Thanks.

Yes, doing it a lot of stoppies will ruin the rear isolator.

Yes they can, but if you go through a riders safety class you will be alright.

EVERY bike can do a stoppie, just as EVERY bike is capable of doing a wheelie, though the Blast is not as capable as other bikes out there in stock form

There isnt a danger of the Blast doing a stoppie, it'll lock up the front wheel first.

Wheelies and stoppies can be done, but you're really going to have to work at it!

OH I DON'T WANT TO DO ONE, I want to avoid that. I am settled on the Blast but I have no way of knowing its characteristics, in this case hard braking.

Don't grab the front brake and you'll be fine. WHen you stop, wrap your fingers around the lever and make a fist. As you squeeze, it adds braking pressure.

Practice it and you'll be able to stop that sucker in an amazingly short distance. The only trouble I've seen teaching Riders Edge classes on Blasts is people grabbing it and jamming them on. (The have the same problem on Rebels, too.)

They must have taken a friends HD out, bc you have to have a death grip to make them stop.

Yes, if you get off your Harley and ride a Blast for the first time, you'd better be wearing a cup when you hit the brakes. You'll smack the 'boys' real good! LOL in a high pitched voice!
