I may be cutting mine off soon for a long overdo chop project. I will be cutting the entire sub frame including foot peg arms from the backbone. It is still a few weeks away due to having casts on both hands from a spill. What do you think its worth to you? |

Nothing since it bolts on and off - cutting it would very much lessen its usefulness - lol EZ |

lol...heh...ahem.... Dang EZ, your like a giggling kid with a spit wad gun hiding behind a desk waiting for someone to walk around the corner. Common EZ, I know youve seen where the "metal" subframe (not plastic cover or tube subframe) is welded to the back bone. There are no bolts that hold that on. The foot peg arms are bolted on but there wont be anything for them to bolt too after Im done. To be painfully specific, the frame will be chopped, practically in half, so EVERYTHING from the shock mount back is going bye bye. :::wipes spit wad from forehead::: |

hmm - I'll check - could then be useful - have a couple Blast skeletons sitting in the garage so no biggie - then I would recommend this for someone with welding skills or knows someone. EZ |

No need to check. They guy asked for a tail section, frame and all. I was just offering mine, if he was willing to wait a few weeks. Welding skills? Hmmm, I would have thought duct tape would work..... |

LOL - I think he is just talking about the Tubular frame - which does just bolt on - Duct tape is great for a lot of things, especially now that they have it in colors. EZ |

Hey everyone... I'm looking for a Givi A750-A770 model fairing. Does anyone happen to have one they are not using anymore? Black or silver are the colors I'd like to get, but any color will do since I can always repaint them. |

Bthumper: I have a Flyscreen. It's pristine & Black in color. I will be replacing it w/a Givi A755 as soon as it arrives from california. You are welcome to it for the cost of shipping. I'm new to this site so I am not sure of the protocols re: contacting me/swapping addresses etc'. any advice would be greatly appreciated. I also have a 2002 Buell screen with brackets and a couple of silver colored bolts from Lowe's. The screen is black and has had the back repainted. it looks pretty good for a 7 year old screen. No major scratches or rash. Anyone interested? Chris C. |

Britchri10 I could use the flyscreen brackets, I cut them on the Little Kids Blast to install one of those non-DOT headlight fairings and regretted it. If you need to cut your brackets we could swap. |

Swampy: As soon as I get the screen delivered and out of the box I will see if I need to cut the brackets. If I do, I'll holler at you and we can arrange a trade. (I'm hoping I won't have to but we shall see!) Chris C |

Swampy: Sorry but a friend of mine came up with two old brackets that he had cut. He's a Blast rider also and I owe him for some brake work he did on my bike, so I have given my uncut brackets to him. No hard feelings I hope? Chris C |

I'm actually looking for the book Proficient Motorcycling by Hough's. I am a newbie and would love to read this per everyone's suggestion. After reading it,I could pass it on to whoever else is in need. Anybody got a copy around that they don't need anymore? Thanks. |
