still space for the airfilter (or foamy thing)I am going to snad down and clean up the intake . then it is on to wires!followed by a trip up to ames to talk with norice about some parts

Let me get this right for myself - all you did was cut the intake and turn it so the angle was nullified and then had it welded up?

Interesting. You could use the XB airbox area for some kind of storage now.

The bike will look clean with no scoops and such.

Djkaplan- good idea norice and I were talking today and that subject cameup. I tink that the airbox hinged at the back with cotter keys at the fron will be the ticket. but i am a ways away from that. soon enough.

ordered many new parts today for the front end and willbe surfing for the rest to save money. by the way I think a trip to lowes is in order for the remaining hardware as hd prices are a wee bit high.

and like i said, if you need some help give me a call. i am always willing to come over and screw something up! lol

I am always looking for help(mental help)

I really need to focus adn get the last few parts aquired. I think after talking with norice i am going to finish the project with mostly blast parts to make things go quicker and easier. guages , voltage regulators, little stuff. all will bolt in insted of my plan of hacking and slashing the blast harness. I am no good at wiring! so the fewer cuts the better!

Exactly - I plan on taking on a Blast harness and electrical system on mine, the question is - where are you putting the battery and fuses? - I was going to get some smoked plexi and mount them on that - nice and neat in the air box. I figured with a city x kickashe airbox cover - it would look pretty cool - but you have another location? Where exactly?

I am thinking that I could mount them on a plate of something mounted where the fan used to be. I will have to check wire lengths but it looks like it may work. I have a busy day ahead so hopefully tonight I can get to lowes and get the bolts I need. I will post tonight if I can get a good mock up for the main harness.

Neutral light switch:

From stator, to regulator:
(It has nothing to do with the starter, but look at your regulator)

can't see enough to know, but looks like rear light harnes on the left, and Bank Angle Sensor on the right:
