There are so many other things I'll buy first.

Yikes! Talk about loud!!!

Measure twice, cut once? How about eyeball once, cut 4 times? Touch-ups to come later, maybe.

I took my horn off years ago after I found that most drivers ignore that, too. The best defense is a good offense. Stay alert and act quickly when necessary. Always have an escape plan in mind.

So when the guy almost left turned me today I should not of used my horn but come to a complete stop and let him turn? Take the sidewalk in hopes he sees me before he hits me? Cross 2 lanes of traffic to avoid him? And I should do this every time it looks like someones going to turn in front of me? I'm not going to get very far!
Learning to use your brakes: good idea.
Escape plan: very good idea.
Losing/not using your horn: Bad idea. My opinion!

Glad you liked it! That means that I need to put in on my 'Gotta-Have' list also.

Got to use it this morning. Lady in a minivan at a 4 way stop didn't see me at all. She was looking right at me, too. HONK! It works!

Hasn't made a difference without one in the last five years.

To each his own. We all have our own ideas of which safety equipment we need and at what level (helmets, gloves, armour, lights, brakes,etc.).
28 years of riding (20+ to work most everyday), I wouldnt want to be without a horn. Saved my bacon more than once. Thats my experience.

So since we are on the horn subject. Mine doesn't work it is not the horn. Tested that and it work. Check for bad fuses I didn't see any. What do I check next?
