Here's a picture that shows the difference in height between my Uly and my wife's V-Strom. (screen V-Strom is in highest position)

nice quality pieces. Looks like you are pushing a brick wall down the road though. I never under stood the windshield. I suppose I should try one out just for S's & G's

The main reason I designed a new adapter was that there aren't many options for improving the wind protection that don't involve fitting massive screens. I like the Buell screen because it's not too large and when fitted in the right location, is very effective.
When I first got my bike I struggled with it because the screen was deflecting all the wind onto my chest and face which probably was worse than no screen at all!
I suffer from bad tinnitus and so am very sensitive to wind noise so any improvement in air flow over my head is a priority for me. I do wear pukka ear plugs but it still gives alot of pain on any reasonable size journey. I borrowed a new XB12STT when mine was being serviced and I really didn't like it mainly because it was not a comfortable bike to ride at motorway speeds due to lack of any wind protection - even turning my head to check over my shoulder was a struggle. Maybe my endurance type lid and clothing didn't help.
My ideal bike these days is a bike that can eat the miles cruising at 70-90 mph without effort, in all conditions and now my Ulysses fits the bill perfectly. A fiend of mine bought a City Lightning at the same time and he also struggles on motorways but mainly uses the bike for scratching around the lanes so it's not really an issue.
Earlier this week, I followed for a while, then comfortably passed, a big capacity naked Kawasaki (new model) whose rider looked like he was doing a strange dance on the bike at about 80mph and his jacket was ballooned up due to a lack of fairing - I'm sure he wouldn't cherish the thought of travelling any long distance on it.
If a bike is going to have a screen it should at least do it's job and I think Buell failed miserably in this area.
You do see some extreme set ups though!

Thought I would try my brackets on the small shield and it actually works much better than the touring screen in it's original position - might save someone buying a large screen and ideal if you're not into large shields!

Luc, that bike is a nice spec!
All you need now is a few more extras
