Velkommen Magne how are the roads near Oslo? As far as I recall fantastic, and the Norwegians are great drivers as well. Spirited pace, but safe. Henrik (Danish expatriat) |

Tx, the roads in the City are fine, and its only 20-30 min driving out off the city to nice and curvy country roads. Maybe "we" are safe drivers.. 75% off the time |

Hi, I've got 12 days on an 01 M2L up on Whidbey Id. Same feeling for me too, she's a fun all-around package. Really fun. A little loud with the ProSeries slip on, but at 6k it's music! |

Hey. Just picked up an XB12R. Put about 27 Miles on it, and laid it down.(gravel sucks)My Bike and I back together, but now I'm looking for some riders in MN to help me get back on it. It's the mental things that'll get ya. |

I was thinking about "quantum leaps" as a rider I have experienced while taking a nice relaxed ride following the Ohio River this weekend. These are single events I did where my riding afterwards was significantly better then before. 1) MSF class (basic, need to take advanced) 2) Weekend at Deals Gap. 3) Battletrax. Any of those would be great as well... |

Reep -- add track days to your list . . . .also, riding with better (and sane) riders . . . .I've learned alot from watching my betters, and following their lines .. . . I've often modified them later, but from a position of knowledge and experience, rather than testosterone (it's important to think with teh BIG head on a bike . . . . . ) |

Agreed. I had a good friend with an xr650 that absolutely schooled me. Not just following lines, but pacing corner entries. Track days would be even better. but I guess I am off topic here |

Hey all, been on board my 12r now for almost 2 months, came to this site first. Thanks for all the info, great place!!! As for my nickname, last rode 8 years ago, ending up on my face and right arm where I found it very hard to get the expletive out that came to mind as that #$@^ deer, ( and a very nice 8 pt. it was) took up the same asphalt as My front tire. Next time on two wheels was my test ride on the 12R. I am looking forward to getting involved some track days, battletrax, and anything else that could help me re-hone my skills. Thanks again, Greg, in Maryland, good ol US of A |

Welcome Greg! So yours could be characterized as a ... When life has you colliding with a deer, make deer sausage, kind of story? Great that you are back on two wheels. Liberating ain't it? |
