My prayers are with Frank and family. This is a really hard really awful time to just take it day by day. God's still there though, he will walk every step with you. |

Well, saw Frank today in CCU. Overall, he looks pretty good, lots of great drugs going thru him to help with the pain and getting him nutrition. Brought back memories, tho, of when I was doing my RN preceptorship, that's where I was!!! Offered to bring Frank his bike to the hospital so he could ride home....well, maybe not. Gave Frank and Cindy the badweb address so he can see all of you that have been praying for him. Thank you all again. His surgery lasted almost 5 hours and he said that the tumor they took out weighed about 5 lbs and was about the size of a football. But, his liver is already regenerating so that's a good thing. He actually has an appetite, wants pizza w/pepperoni, a waldorf salad and there was something else but I can't remember. Again, thank you all for your prayers And Frank, when you get on this thread, know that we love and Bless you and can't wait to get back on the bikes for a ride in the twisties (maybe 100mph or so!!) I can understand the pizza and salad, I hope the other thing Frank has a yen for isn't OKRA! It is good to hear he is doing well. (Message edited by BCordb3 on September 13, 2007) |

Read through this thread and am totally astounded at the human spirit. I will pray for Frank, his family and all associated with him. God will hear them I know. Jet, my thanks to you for being a Veteran and wish you all my best. Nice to have you post here to uplift a fellow Badwebber as well as all the rest of us. I am a fellow vet and was in Desert Storm. Had the utmost respect for you Rocket Jockeys. Shot down a heck of alot of those SCUDS. As a ground pounder it was quite a sight to se those blown up at night. Never prouder to be a part of the Big Red One. God Bless you and your family. You are so right, NEVER GIVE UP!! Really mean that from the heart bro. Be safe, ride hard. If you're ever around Ohio, look me up. Thank You! |

Frank got out of the CCU yesterday but it was a hard move. Still in a lot of pain and the drugs are causing him to be somewhat out of it. He's hopefully going to be going home in the next day or so. Unfortunately, his mom, who lives in Calif, passed away last Friday while Frank was still in CCU. Please continue to pray for Frank and Cindy and the family as he still has a way to go to get back to recovery. We're praying for you Frank and love you. |

Man, what news to get while nailed down in ICU. It all seems to hit at once sometimes. It's got to be disheartening to need to get well enough to grieve. Frank and family still on the list here. |

I feel for him too, my Grandfather passed away while I was laid up in the hospital after my accident. |
