a fellow biker. He doesn't own a Buell but loves bikes. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer a while back and that's being taken care of. Recently a tumor, the size of a softball, was found in his liver and it's causing him a great deal of pain. He has a 5+ hour surgery scheduled for Sept 10. Just asking those praying Buellers for your prayers to help him and his family get thru this time. Thank you and God Bless you all His name is Frank (Message edited by jumpinjewels on September 03, 2007) |

although i am not a very religious person in general, i will say a short prayer for him and his family cause i to have/had freinds/family who had and or are batteling it. it doesn't matter who this person is, no one should ever have to deal with that disease. i hope he can fight it like the latest friend of mine is doing. god speed. |

Just talked with Frank's wife, Cindy, and it looks like he's going to the hospital tomorrow sometime. Because he's losing so much weight, the surgeon wants to try and beef him up so he can tolerate the surgery on Monday. Again, thank you all so much for your prayers and will keep you updated. |

Frank had his 5 hour surgery yesterday. The mass in his liver was bigger, much bigger than what was expected. He is currently in ICU and I'm hoping to visit with him on Thurs or Fri. Cindy said that the surgeon was very surprised just how big the tumor was and that it wasn't seen on the CT scan. It was so big that it was pushing on his diaphragm and was having difficulty breathing. He was cut from stem to stern and is in a lot of pain. He got down to 119#. Thank you again for your continued prayer as they do truly help. Will update after I see him later this week. In Jesus name, thank you and Amen |

Don`t give UP! let me tell you a little story about guy I know he contracted throat cancer when was 20 he was on his 4th year in the US Army ( yes he went in at 17) he turned 21 in Walter Reed.He lost his voice box and a few other unnecessary parts and went through chemo and radiation and was forced out of active duty from the Army he loved, he always wanted to be on the "tip of the spear" so to speak and he was he served on the Pershing 2 nuclear Missle in Germany his whole tour ( this gave him cancer). Anyway he was discharged and went home with a less than promising future but was lucky enough to go 14 years with no issues none! he was declared "cured" but in 2000 it returned with a vengence he had 3 tumors this time big ones in both lungs and 1 in his heart muscle the Dr said no way he is going to make it 2 months! So he said screw it lets go in and do some extreme high dose radiation in a special study to determine how much a human can survive without dying,he figured maybe they could learn something from it and do some good for some one else right he had nothing to lose he was done right no hope. Well he had 40% of his lung material removed and 13000 rads and some chemo. He got down to 118 lbs and could not eat or drive or even make it out of bed for 6 months. But low and behold no tumor! Well he went on another 4 years a walking miracle right the Dr`s don`t know how then in 2004 2 more tumors in his left lung but this time he is surely screwed he can`t have radiation its cummilative and he would not survive, so they cut him open again the 28th time for the cancer and gave him high dose chemo the 3rd time in his life again he got down to 128 lbs and again no more tumor. Oh the guy is 6' tall buy the way and he is ME!its been 3 years now and I live knowing some day this will do me in but I will not give up ever! I don`t mean to blow my own horn and I am not brave or anything like that just stubborn. Don`t ever give up no matter what they tell you never give up. Oh and by the way I bought my XB12r in 05 rode it 3 days and 1587 miles from Austin TX to Raleigh NC because my friends said it could not be done. I have 12,000 miles and 9 track days on it and I run my 1st CCS race this month don`t ever give up!! I am the slow guy in the back of the pack #241 if I can do anything for you buddy call me day or night oh yea I build jet engines and guns for a living raise my 2 boys to stay alive. 919-414-3247 www.xringprecisionrifles.com Red |
