for me. Sold the Buell this weekend. Had some good times, good trips, done things I might not have done otherwise and made lots of good memories with interesting people. You gotta love bikes and how they bring people with a common interest together. Joining BWB about 5 years ago was a positive thing in my life (except for all the work that didn't get done between 8-5) and gave me a new point of view of motorcycling and the people that ride them. Garage is feeling naked now with 2 less bikes in it. Will actually miss it but I spend more time in the woods these days. Had fun personally delivering it, though I put the stock foot controls and bars back on and felt a little wierd to me. Upside is, other than having cash in hand for a better dirt bike, it was sold to a guy who may make a decent friend. Went to boarding school in Switzerland and turns out we had some common friends from back in the day and may have even played rugby against each other in the Hague at a tournament. Small friggin world sometimes. (Message edited by x1glider on June 12, 2007) |

At least it's for a damn good reason. I'd love to get back in the dirt... that's the real essence of motorcycling for me. |

Bake, I found a bone stock '05 CRF450X in Ft. Worth with only 2 hours on it for $4500. Owner destroyed his ACL and can't ride anymore. That's a $2900 savings of a showroom model pre-tax and prep. With the extra moula I have from the bike sales, I can add the other necessary goodies before I hit the trails. But I'm also going to DS it for trips into Mexico. So far on my list, I have the trail Tech Vapor Enduro computer and dash, Baja designs DS kit, stator rewind, mirrors, barkbusters, disc protectors and skidplate by someone to be named yet. Haven't decided if the Rekluse is for me as of yet. I'll be getting to test one in a few weeks. The sales worked out well for me. |

DJ, even though I had a bunch of problems initially, once I got them all fixed correctly, I actually loved the bike. Except for power, I feel that my R1100S does everything else better, so the Buell sat idle. If I get another Buell, it'll be a S1 that will get a working over, but definitely not an XB series of any kind. |

Wardan123, I got the notification but can't find the PM. Where are the PMs? Gotta be a link to it somewhere. What did you say in it? |

Tattooed...the belly pan is used but comes with all hardware. New from Henry Duga it was $120. Based on the looks I'd say $75 + shipping. Can't get these anymore. Actually I'd like to sell it thru e-bay for the sole purpose of generating a seller history. Currently I have none and I have a lot of stuff around the house to sell that I have no need for anymore. I can do a buy it now price and just get it over with quickly. Would that bother you? I kind of need the practice doing this.

Might as well continue this here: Flyscreen...I'm asking $20 + shipping. It was $45 new. Another Duga product you can't get anymore.

I'll have to take pics of the harness, bars and rearsets tonight. But here's a brief desription. The instrument harness, I'd just ask for a couple bucks plus shipping. The bars, I'd ask $125 + shipping. They have some grip glue and throttle tube residue on it. Also there are the typcal scars from the lever clamps and mirror clamps biting into them. Once you place them on you'll never see them again. Not polished ... machine finished main plate. New, these are $210. They're on e-bay now but I'll get a pic here tonight. |

The rear sets... I'd ask $250. New, they're $475. Titanium finish. The brake side is like new. The shifter side took a hit at the track. The shifter arm and mount got bent as did the rod linkage. I straightened them out but I have vise clamp marks on the rod and level. Toe peg and heel guard have some grinding on them. Make no mistake though, they function well and are as straight as new, just not as pretty. Structurally sound as well. I had them on the bike for 4 years. I can put up a better pic later if necessary. Comes with 5 extra rod end bearings for the linkage.

Broke in by Oak Hill Raceway, home track of AMA Superbike Champion Ben Spies. Might do better in the classifieds. I'm all over that racing version fly screen. You have email via BadWeB PM. Cheers, Blake |

I'll do the belly pan, used is fine, just hopefully no cracks or stretched mounting holes. .... PM me so we can do this without worry of someone jumping on it before I get the chance - We can go over details then. Thanks Brian |

LSL rearsets are on e-bay. Regarding e-bay, since I'm trying to build a history, I'll cover the shipping if you buy off of there. Just the rearsets and bars are over there. |
