I realize Buell cant shove stuff down Deeleys' throat, but its one of those things that really stinks about living in Canada - I'm closer to the US border than to my dealership in Kamloops, but get excluded from the factory goodies. DOH!! |

Well, I haven't been around for a day or two since I posted my rant, and I'm glad to know some fellow BadWebbers might be willing to send us Canajans a copy of Fuell every now and then. I appreciate the idea, Dave.
However, I think it would be more better if the BMC would send 'em to us direct. |

I don't know exactly why, but I kind of feel short changed in a sense. "We" no longer have a BRAG organization but "we" think the spot on the website will take its place-(like it or not). We won't have all the same events but "we'll" let you know which ones "we" feel are worth having again.
It's almost like seeing the waiter walk by with surf and turf, then saying they're all out when you go to order, the cook decided tuna salad is ok. I still don't know why there seems to be little input from us, the owners, as to the fate of our owners' group.
I liked the fact that I became part of the Harley family when I bought my XB12r. HOG guys actually waved when I rode down the road and they recognized the bike wasn't a rice burner. But I know I'll probably never fit in to the leather vest,Beanie helmet, cruiser types; that's why the Buell was so appealing. Why does it feel like Buell owners don't count?`Maybe we aren't worth as much as a typical Harley owner, i.e. we don't spend enough on accessories for the bike,we don't spend enough money on clothing and accessories for ourselves; maybe we just don't spend enough money in general for the company to try to keep our friendship. That's why sites like this one are so important. I've gotten more info from this site than any rag that gets sent to the house. I've met more people and gotten more ideas than even just going to the dealership. And, I think our family will stay together with or without a piece of the Buell website or their trade paper, because we love the bikes.(sorry to rant.) |

I gave up paying $40 a year for a magazine with 5 pages. Now I get it for free and it's much better to boot . Any Buell owner can join the H.O.G. and get all the benefits........it sure looks like an improvement to me. |

I've already adopted Edmbueller. It was only about $1.25 to send it to Alberta so Darcy I'll stop by some day and collect for a beer or two.
Let me know when you get it so I'm sure I got that weird address correct. I'm not sure what all those characters meant but I wrote it down as you sent it to me.
I'll keep sending them as long as you need them. |

We got two Fuell magazines cause both me and my hubby have Buells. Is there anyone out there that would like one, and if so, I'll send it out? |

I think we need to start a "take care of our northern brothers and sisters" network.
Dave, I think this is a great idea! Since we have 2 Buells I signed up as the second owner. Next mailing we should get 2 copies and I'll be glad to forward one on to someone up north!

I got mine a week or so ago. It was nice to pickup a magazine that didn't have advertising in it - (or not much anyway - I can't remember if there was any at all or not). |

just got the mags(fuell,enthusiast,hogtales)sent north of border
haven't seen a fuell mag since 2004, its great. when I'm done they're going to 2 other buell riders up here

Well, I'm impressed.
After my short rant a month or so ago in this thread, I just kinda forgot about it. But today in the mailbox, what do I find but the Winter 2007 issue of Fuell, along with a letter from the Harley Owners Group of Canada.
Of course, they're trying to get me to join H.O.G.--which I have no interest in--but they also say they'll continue to mail Fuell to me, at least for 2007.
Not bad. Way to go, guys! |
