I still avoid 1%er events (who needs the scrutiny in their lives?)<<

They do throw great parties.
I'm quite pleased with my 'Known Associate' classification.
I got that attending a swap meet/ bike show I think.

Ceejay - what I meant about taking movies too seriously also. Not serious like motorcycles an' stuff.

cheers

Took my daughter to go see it tonight. She laughed harder than I did!!
Anyways, we get to the part that the biker bar blows up, the dang film flops a couple of times, then freeze frames and melts, I thought what the hell kinda effect is this, after a few seconds we realized this wasn't an effect and got free passes to see it again. Sure was funny up to that point!

i thought that movies was very funny and reminded me of some harley riders that i have met in my life. So what if there was no sport bikes or yada yada it was funnie as hell and made me remeber going on a road trip with my dad, grand father and one of there freinds from Lake Charles La. to Oklahoma city to see a flat track race (though not as eventfull) it was still a fun time.

I kinda wanted to see it but I opted for "300" instead. It was well worth the money and I would pay to see it again. EXCELLENT movie.

>>after the famous club sued Disney.<<

They could have followed up on the disclaimer at the bottom of the bigredmachine pages:

"HELLS ANGELS and the DEATHHHEAD LOGO ® are trademarks owned by Hells Angels Motorcycle Corporation, registered in the United States and various other countries. Should we find you using any of these we will hunt you down and hurt you."

as far as road trip travels and movies, I would rather see buell girlie (dora) riding on the bad back lands of N china and outer mongolia : D much more interested in that kind of off pavement adventure. Besides she would be better to watch than Ewin and Charlie on their beat BMW's

No, I think it'd be like going to a movie about 4 guys who love their Ford pickups and go on a road trip, and every vehicle in the entire movie is a Ford Pickup and Ford, Ford, Ford is everywhere - but the mustang doesn't even get a passing glimpse.

Yup, would have been a much more believable movie if there were sportbikes in it.......}

They used to do that in the 70s, take a look at the old Starsky & Hutch and Charlies Angeles that were brought to you by Ford? All the cars, even those on the sidestreets were FOMOCO 's

I haven't seen it yet...been hearing very mixed reviews. However, if you haven't seen The World's Fastest Indian, don't rent it...buy it! Great movie.

My wife and I saw it last night.
Great entertainment. Lots of funny one liners.
No great social statement, just good fun.
You don't have to think too much, just laugh.

Only continunity problem was one scene where the throttle is wide open on one of the hogs.
The bike screams across the parking lot, they dubbed in sound of an inline 4. Boo...

I'm having coffee next week. A guy did a 4000km trip across China. My chances of doing that? Remote.

Hah!
