This is my youngest, of 2 daughters and a son. She's 6.

Brandi being Cuell

She grabbed the oldest's (13) Jacket and was running
around the house with it.

All I could think was..: ( I've got a daughter that
likes motorcycles and leather. I won't get a
single night's sleep once she turns 13 or so.
I'd rather sweat than bleed, wouldn't you?
White is definitely the FASTEST color Buell.

Being the father of two daughters and a son as well as two grand daughters, I know that look you may be in trouble already. Do you get the feeling that you are wrapped around her finger? Does she hang around when you are working on the bike and seem to find the right things to say? If so it is too late.

it's too late indeed -- but it's a great job, being a BDWD

can't keep the enemy away, not once they start deciding they are NOT the enemy ;-}

THANK GAWD I have two boys!

You know what they say about raising kids? When you raise a boy, you only have to worry about one penis...when you have a girl, you have to worry about them all!

It's a good thing Carlee can't reach on the Uly, however, she can on a Blast! and wants one when she's 16. She loves her pink Buell hat and will go toe-to-toe with any of the boys at school about "other" motorcycles!

I have an 11 year old daughter, I'm just going to buy stock in Louisville Slugger.

I have a feeling sales in my hometown will be up....

BTW, for her birthday last week, she wanted and got a 50cc stepthru scooter. Only good for 25 mph, but 25 is fast enough going solo.

I'll just be sitting in the living room...
Cleaning the worlds most powerful handgun when their dates arrive to pick them up.
Then send the oldest (Kyle) along as a chaperone. did I mention he was a
Southwest regional champ in SCA youth sword fighting?

I'll loan him one of my Heavy duty canes and wait for them to be home early!

Dads:
Just a thought, If they are riding with you you know what they are doing,

If they are into bikes like dad you know what they are doing, and who they are with.
when they hang out with you.

When the boy friend rides with the family , you know who she is with and what she is doing ( family ride )

and tell the truth when they look up at you with "DADDY!" its great!

as stated above assume the position ( around the finger. )

rachel turned 14 in april. we surf and ride skateboards together and i like to kick the soccer ball around when i have knees that work and try to help her practice her softball skills every chance we get.

she is starting to notice that none of her friends dads do these things with their daughters.

i just hope she does'nt drop me like a rock the first time a boy comes a calling!

philip

i forgot to mention she loves riding on back with me on the m2.

Ok, stop it guys. You're scaring me.
My almost 2 year old step daughter is already obsessed with motorcycles. When she was one year old she started pushing herself around on a little push trike I got her making motorcycle engine noises. When we walk to the store she flirts with any & all motorcyclists she sees there yet shies away from anyone else. She loves helmets & jackets & gets excited when she hears a bike pass by.

Did I mention she's only 22 months old?

God help me.
This is the earliest I've ever been late!

Oldog-your right on, BUT I remember what I was like being a knot headed biker at the age of 18, 2 things on my mind at that age, 1 was riding my bike, and I won't talk about the other. But I guess that does give me a little heads up on little *^%$## that comes to take my daughter out. If he prefers to ride, she won't ride with him till I can see his abilities and approve.

As Jinance posted above, we had a father/ daughter ride about 3 weeks ago, sure was a great time seeing the girls get along so well, as well as getting to ride with new friends myself.

My 14yr old loves the Buell & hates the FJ12.
She's turning into a lovely young woman & I'm helpless to do anything about the boy situation except give advice when she comes to visit her old man during the holidays.
If she lived with me I'd be cleaning the shotgun or doing some BP when he came by to pick her up, & I'd discreetly remind him that I used to be like him but worse, so I can tell what he's thinking, & he'd better not!

Just looking at your post with the picture of you and Jlnance riding "shotgun" (so to speak) on the Uly's. My daughter is 4'9", 25yrs old and when she, her husband, and little Ruthie (my granddaughter) come home from Dover Emi says, "DDDDDaaaaaddyy" - - "I wana ride". Well we go ride.

You know how a daughter learns to make good choices in boys? By having a model provided by a loving, caring, protective Father. Looks like smiling daughters and proud papa's to me.

You know, i can see that working both ways...deterant to keep her sneaking out siad window, and same fro keeping boys away from said window... NICE...

Hey, my little girl turns 3 on the 8th? Does that entitle me member ship into BDWD?

Ha, thuogh, I think the boys need to owrry about her more the she needs to worry about boys...

The other nite when some punks jacked the bikes in the comlplex, she was all over the cop that was here...an dhe was so cool about it...probably about my age..made her a junior police woman and everythign...she was loving it..

Oh yeah, it was a motorcycle cop that showed up initially...

Anyway...hahaha
