Now that's another way to reduce weight - check out the third & fourth photos

Honda VTX Performance Cruiser Concept

Who knows if it will ever make it into production. Very good looking bike.

That is one trippy rear wheel.
I hope it goes into production. It is very unusual looking. I like it.

That's AWESOME! I'd love to see that on the back of my S1W (with the chain drive, of course)

Decent looking bike. I like those forks despite the fact I thought the Rune was hideous. But the one thing I don't like about the VTX is the fact that it weighs WAY more than it should. It could stand to drop 200 pounds (or more).

Air is even lighter than Titainium.

I love the rear wheel

V-rod styling, probably a great motor, wonder how it would handle and what it would weigh?

Have fun fitting a torque wrench and your hand/forearm in there to tighten the bolt...
Still real cool looking though!!!

This concept bike was running around the bike show circuit a couple of years ago. Old news.

Yes it's an older 'concept bike'. But the VTX could truly stand some improvement. It weighs almost 800# and makes about 80 hp. And they have the gall to call it a 'Performance Cruiser'.
Performance Cruiser.... Good one.

Old news. But you can't shake a stick at how many people said they'd buy one in a heartbeat if it went to production. Myself included...

I'd be tempted to buy one as well. But it would have to weigh a LOT less and put out more than 80 HP that's for sure. Not sure I'd pay that much for a bike (price for a VTX is high, truly steep for the Rune) only to have it smoked at a red light by some punk in a Civic. More power, less weight, and it could be a decent enough bike.
