Well I was all ready to ride yesterday and when I tried to turn her over all I got was that dreaded clicking noise. I put my battery on the overnight battery tender and this morning all I got was the same thing, click click click!! I am assuming the battery is no good? I will take it (the battery)by the dealer tomorow and let them check it but you think thats all it could be. I realize this is all limited info!! Thanks!!

if the battery isnt that old, have your charging system checked too, cant hurt

check the mount block to the frame braided connector also. Ya know that silly braided cable.

It will make for a non-charging/non-starting ride

Put the bike in second gear and bump it a little to try to spin the motor a bit. It could be halfways up on a compression stroke and stuck.

It happened to me a couple times with a weaker battery.

Seems me a battery problem.
A former Harley employee wrote me once:

"As to your Buell battery, it could go at any time. They tend not to "soft fail" but to "hard fail": fine one day and dead the next. The guarantee is one year, but we always recommended replacement after two years, particularly where (as in your case) the battery was not being exercised."
Mine is 5 years old and still fine: A keeper. But when the clicketyclick comes, I know what`s wrong.

Does the headlight come on strong? Do the turn signals flash at their normal rate? If so, you could be looking at a bad ignition switch or a bad solenoid.

I had the same problem, went to the dealer who told me the price of the battery, Ouch.
So I looked in the yellow pages & went to a local specialist battery supplier & paid less than half the HD price, I figure even if it only lasts half as long as a genuine item I'm still on a winner.

Just out of curiosity, what does a factory replacement battery cost? I replaced mine a couple weeks ago, never even thought about going to a dealer for it, but now I'm wondering...
