That's what I really loved about the corners down there, Brian. When they say 15mph, they damned well mean 15mph! Up this way, you can go two and a half times the posted corner speed in my TRUCK, for crying out loud...

spooky is right...that more than likely would not be succesfull on the thruxton.
truely the XB

yeah Darth you know what I am talking about, a group of us almost had a pile up one day after riding in south carolina, their 30 mph turns are different from NC, we crossed the state line back into NC and that first posted 30 mph just about got us.

skeeter
yeah I know 43, just couldn't figure it out that day we were talking. there are some other crooked roads but that is a good one

Bubba, if you haven't found them yet, check out some of the roads to the north and south of 46 between Columbus and Nashville especially around the state park and south. Don't remember which ones specifically, but I do remember that it shouldn't take you too long to discover them on your own.

well Darth (bryan) you should try out the roads up north, by my cottage. Heck there are some roads that say 15 MPH and the dang things are BANKED!! I have gone up that way w/ a trailer with the same mentality of the roads around the southern/central michigan area, and i almost lost the boat.. not good concerdering it isn't my boat..lol

Spidy and I are calling it Michigans little Deals Gap.... I mean it isn't as exciting but it is still fun (unless a grey hair gets in your way)

Come on up to New England. I can show you a few interesting roads. You'll be neither straight nor level for more than a hundred yards during a full days ride.

BLACKBELT

What roads up north by your cottage do you speak of?
I am almost "UP North" and am thinking of taking Monday and Tuesday off to go up.
Thanks
