Called Buell CS today for some help with a throttle body. I was given #1 assistance by Michelle.

Her second question to me... Is my Buell modified in any way?

Pardon my ignorance.
What do you mean "Red Star"?
Also, are there many Buells that aren't modified?

I hope you told them no. Otherwise a big red flag gets put next to your name.

I tell folks they are clamping down & keeping track of this stuff.

He HE, I never get over 60... because my friends ride old choppers and they CAN'T get over 60 (well, the sporty will DO 110, but it floats valves at that RPM). It's almost like seeing a great dane, a St. Bernard and a Chihuahua... but it's kindof the other way... A '66 TR-6, a '75 Sporty both of which are hardtails and a brand spankin new XB12R :).

Why would Michelle ask you if her Buell is modified in any way? Is that a trick question or something? How would you know about Michelle's Buell?

Just ask her to define "modified".
Do different mirrors imply modified?
Does putting an M2Low seat on an M2 imply modified?
Does using Bridgestone instead of Dunlop tires imply modified?
Does adding the speedo sensor filter to the speedo sensor imply modified?
Does using the new synthetic Harley approved lubricant instead of Buell recommended SportTrans fluid per the owners/service manuals imply modified?
Does adding a Ventura rack or a Buell tank bag to the bike imply modified?
Does adding a sticker or decal to the paint imply modified?
Does removing that decal from the gas tank about filling the bike imply modified?
What, exactly, is meant by "modified"?

Going for my second or ninth red star.
