Hey,
anybody besides Rocky and myself headed out this year?

July 18-20, Harley is the theme bike this year and Mert Lawill (see On any Sunday) is the grand marshal.

Info is here AMA site

Here's a quick blurb

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days 2003 also will feature two vintage bike shows, as well as a custom bike show; the traditional AMA Swapmeet, North America's largest; a slate of guest speakers, including Jean Davidson, author of Growing Up Harley-Davidson; demo rides offered by Harley-Davidson, Buell, BMW, Triumph and Moto-Guzzi

If anybody is doing the BadWeb Logo gear, I could use a shirt prior to going, especially when I sneak into the wall of death and
and see if riding parallel to the ground will fix these oil leaks

Okay, call me dumb, but why are there two Lexington Ohios? And they're 95 miles apart.
Is Mid-Ohio at Richland county or Stark county. I've always wanted to go there, and seeings as how it's "just" 8-9 hours away I might have to head down there sometime soon. I probably won't make it to the vintage days though.

Vintage Days rock....

Roadracing, motorcross, short track, trials.... it's all there,... and it's all on bikes that you used to own, the ones you wish you never got rid of, the ones that that guy down the street used to own, the ones that you read about in magazines, the ones you've forgotten about for years.

The best bikes are generally the ones brought by other enthusiasts to the meet. It is not brand specific,... you don't find "biker" types here, just true motorcyclists. The kind that appreciate anything with 2 wheels and a motor.

We leave our big bikes at home and take the pit bikes and our older ones to sell, trade or swap. Speaking of swap, Vintage days has one of the largest swap meets anywhere,... it's all there.

Everyone should make this trip at least once...
.... and don't forget to bring your favorite beer.

I want my Metralla back!!!

Last time I was at the swap meet, I was with someone who didn't want to walk much. And as you know, there's a lot of walking to be done! Won't be the case this year! I want to see it all.
