Spiderman, Have you lifted off the rocker covers to check for loose or worn items up top? I haven't followed the threads enough to know what kind of clicking your bike is having. |

Yep all checks out up top, rockers, valves even new lifters. Push rods straight as an arrow. The cam cover comes off tonight and I pray to god that it is the cam bearings and or bushings other wise it is the crank bearing and I am screwed for a month. (not time to fix it just money wise) |

Dude, if there is anything I can do to help you get her back on the road earlier, let me know...maybe we can talk about it tonight, since I'm sure you'll be tearing the cam cover off in the garage. New Lifters...Hmmm...forget the Marvel Oil as all that really does is unclog a fouled Hydraulic lifter. |

Spidey, Dumb question, but since I just replaced a broken one on my M2, have you checked the little spring under the clutch inspection cover for being missing or broken? That would cause a rattle since it holds the adjuster screw lock cap/nut/thingy. Probably not the problem, and you probably know it's there and good, and you'll probably verify that this is a dumb question, but I figured I'd ask it anyway. Say hello if you make it over on Saturday. I'll be the quiet guy on the black or white bike. |

Mike, I'll convince him to let me take pictures... Spidey, Motor City is hold one of the pistons for me. Took him 20 seconds to look it up, give me a price, and say he'd nab one for me. Well Mike I will give you the preview. I had the cyl punched 30 over. One of them (the front) had a small chunk taken out of it. nuthin big little chip. Well being in a engine turnin 6800 rpm and runnin like the devil it ended up becomming a big chung (found that out last night) scored a large area of the cyl and piston is just FUDGED. I knew I shoulda just replaved the cyl on the spot there but I just had to ride. LOL Now I am slapin myself around. |

Ah, understood. Circle boat racers I used to know used to have a saying: What's the difference between a small crack and a big crack? Time. |

We'll just take him out for a good old Milwaukee Friday Fish Fry. He'll be so bloated from all that grease and beer, that he'll start thinking the Michelin Man is sexy.

I sure hope some wind is blowing a little on Saturday. Cheese and Fish Fry and coleslaw coupled with massBeer could lead to a very aeromatic event. |

Yeah, looks like the $20 for the Milwaukee Rally Passport was a real waste. No way I am going to stand around in a friggin' rain suit all weekend. Then again, looks like a great weekend for indoor sports. |
