i was browsing the yamaha site the other day
and noticed the r6 had what they said was 200hp per liter, what the hell is that supposed to mean?
they can't be saying this 600cc bike has 200 horses, can anyone set me straight here?

They're saying that the bike in question has 600/1000th of 200 hp. or 120hp

It means that for a 600 cc bike, it would have 200 HP if it were a liter bike.

Say a 500 cc motor had 50 HP. Well then they would claim that it was 100 HP per liter.
