Why don't you do what most of us do. Buy the Buell, and make it yours. If Buell makes it, it'll mean more than just you have one. I wanted an XB9S with the Race Kit. I wanted clip-ons. I wanted an R tail section. Buell sold me the XB9S with the Race Kit, I took care of the rest.
Making your Buell yours, (to me) is part of the Buell experience. There are tons of one of a kind Buells. Why be one of many, when you can be one of a kind. Granted there are others that have done what I've done, so I'm one of a few... |

Why be one of many, when you can be one of a kind. I hear ya but Iam waiting on some other things too. If they came out with this last week it would have pushed me over the edge. Im in no hurry and if they never build it than I may have to. I like tinkering. |

I like tinkering. I think that goes for pretty much all the BadWeBbers. Have you noticed how few stock Buells there are around here? Someone will post up that they're new here, and post a pic of a nice clean stock Buell, then the next thing you know they're posting what they've done... |

I dig the solid spokes. Makes it look beefier for some reason. As for making it your own, I thought this was super cool.... but then again- im easy.

Man I like those pre load adjusters - probably don't fit with the Uly bars though. |

I bet the Telefix Profi clip-ons would - they are 4 way adjustable (including height), German engineered - very pricey though - starting around 200 these days. EZ |

The bars on my 1980 XS1100 were adjustable. |

Yeah - first saw Blake with those bars and looked them up, got them for my toy - adjust-ability means comfort and clearance - the systems really brilliant - pricey though - I always thought they where perfect because the could be brought all the way to super-bike bar height - with spacers - and then brought down cafe style, and readjusted for comfort - 1 large allen wrench and a few minutes is all you need - damn durable too - mine have seen over a dozen drops, they are still fine. Someone here had plans to put a Lightning tail on a CR, haven't seen any pics yet. I think a Lightning front would also be possible. |

"Someone will post up that they're new here, and post a pic of a nice clean stock Buell, then the next thing you know they're posting what they've done..." That would be me in the beginning of 2004. Last week my brother in law sent a pic the day after I had picked up my near stock X1. I'd never seen the pic before.
Not as modified as some Buells around here, but it is *my* Buell
