I've been reasonably happy with my Storm. The latest major update (4.7?) address most of the issues I had with the phone including slow accelerometer/screen repositioning, touch accuracy and the odd random freeze. I use the Storm with an Otterbox case and the whole thing is BIG. Doesn't bother me since I don't walk around with it in my pocket. Do you have to stick with Verizon? If not, you might want to wait a few weeks and try the new Android myTouch 3G (who names these things??) on T-Mobile. It's basically a G1 with better specs and no keyboard. My 2 cents. |

On the other hand............ The new iPhone 3Gs is coming out day after tomorrow, and it is much improved. With a magnetic compass, voice control, cut and paste, turn by turn GPS, improved camera and video, among other features it will be a very useful and fun phone. I am picking mine up Friday.

On at&t now and my wifes friends are going to Verizon. It will cost me a fortune to be with anyone else. (free mobile to mobile voice & text). Other than that I would probably not switch. So yeah, I have to go to Verizon. |

Damn you guys get some crap deals on cell-phones. I recently got a Nokia Navigator, 3G, quadriband, GPS, 3.2mp camera, & loads of other functions I can't fathom. Cost me less than nothing, as I renewed & changed my contract at the same time. I get 3hrs talk time or equivalent to other cells & 08 numbers, anywhere in the world, free reception in France, unlimited calls to landlines in Europe, US, Canada, & a shedload of other places, unlimited internet access in France too. All for just over 50 bucks a month. Got the net & home phone with the same provider, & that deal's even sweeter! |

if your already on at&t you have no excuse not to have an iphone. if you dont want to wait till the drop of the 3gs, the 3g is only $99 now. new software for that drops today sometime. do it. you know you want to. |

the driver is all the people my wife talks to are on Verizon now. To stay with AT&T, I would have to go "Unlimited" at $200 a month for just voice, thats not counting the data plans and messaging for each phone. Tried to make the $99 Iphone work out cost-wise, cause thats what I wanted. Just couldnt do it. So Verizon I go. I can cut my home phone off and save money, while using about 200 minutes max a month from the 1400 minutes Ill get with Verizon. I really tried to get the Iphone, but it didnt work out...so go for the next best thing that Verizon has. Keep the personal reviews coming! thanks |

Another Verizon option is the upcoming Blackberry Tour which has a physical keyboard. Should be out within the next few weeks. |

I'm on Verizon and I got the Blackberry 8330 Curve for free. It's a good phone and the price was right. |

I have a Palm Pre and I am Really enjoying it. I am a diehard apple fan boi, but I couldn't stomach dealing with AT&T (I've never had an issue with sprint...) |

Have had the Storm since X-mas...takes a little getting used to the keyboard with big fingers but if I hold at an angle when I type I can see the blue glow better.I use Slacker for unlimited free Int. Radio even works dirtbiking in desert.Works throughout Europe with included sim chip/8gig memory included and Verizon leather case shuts off display automatically.Wont stream TV but I dont care.Go to Crackberry for free Apps.Pay about $52 per month for unlimited email and text and 700 minutes with company discount. |
