My dealer has had this jacket for as long as I can remember (years)and they still have it priced at ~$340. Am I crazy or should I expect it to be deeply discounted? The Vanson version is even discontinued... |

Discontinued or not, $340 for a Vanson is pretty good, IMO. Have you tried making an offer? ...of course, I got two for $330... |

Vason Leathers are pretty much indistructable. I've crash tested mine three times. Once at the track going into turn one at 80 mph, big long slide. Jest a few minor scuff marks to show for my efforts. Compaired to what I paid for mine $340 is cheep protection. Go for it, you won't be dissapointed. |

I could see it if it were a leather, and yes I agree Vanson is tops in leather. Its the mesh jacket. |

Vanson has their Vent Max 3 discounted for 100 bucks (they still have some small sizes) until they sell out their stock, so yes that is way too rich. I bought one last weekend (for 135 with tax) at a local store. The new Vent Max 4 just came out and is "improved" since Vanson added 2 pockets on the outside of the jacket, 1 pocket on the inside, a adjustable waistband, snap bands on the arms blah, blah, blah and added like 140 bucks to the original price of. I like the old jacket better since there is nothing to impede airflow, like pockets straps etc. & vent max 4 looks like ass IMO. BTW Vanson has two apparel lines now, one made in the USA & one in pakistan or china. |
