I was at Dave Zein's Million Mile Harley Landing party today and it got me thinking, what's Buell got on that? Any ideas on who has the most miles on a single Buell? |

no offence, but that seat & subframe looks like it was hand made by a blind man.. and it reminds me of that redneck bike make of wood, thats 1996 technology?!? |

Thats 1996 technology after 250k miles, and 1/2 of your bike was pieced together from other bikes over the years The front end was off Spiderman's M2 if I remember right. |

What's a subframe? The FRAME is one of the most beautiful and functional frames made by Buell. Tramp rides his bike all year no matter what the weather. |

Tramp is alive and well ( and busy), I speak with him every couple of weeks. |

A new question...How many miles did it go before it's first total engine and tranny rebuild? |

still original motor. he said it is starting to get noisy though and will require a rebuild soon. when asked even he admits that he's suprise'd it has lasted this long. |

Another interesting point- IIRC Tramp runs HD 20W-50 oil and changes it often (2500 miles?). |

That bike look like is been rode hard and put away wet many MANY times! And with any luck in another 10-20 years when some newby ask "How Many Miles on a Buell" You can post the photo and drop a line about "Next ride will see it over 1,000,000! Keep her rolling Tramp! |

I would like to hear some other high miles as well. Every time this topic comes up, tramps bike is mentioned, and the topic dies. Anybody with a working odometer? |

Id be proud too. I plan adding to that list with my bike someday. Does the buell odo go back to 0 or does it say 100,000? What does Lafayette ride? |

Mikethebike had like 70k plus on his 12R @ badness. Watrousmark put like 40k on his 12R in the first year. I cant remember what he is up too now. There was a guy in nashville who had a 80k 9R. |

155,000 miles, and feeling tired:
replaced the rear belt around 105,000 only because i picked up a rock. This has been one of the most reliable bikes I've EVER owned Nothing like my Uly... |
