Have any of you guys tried these alarms for your bike? I really like the idea and am thinking about asking santa for one.

Heres an excellent review of the lock:

I was looking at one of those to. I got a disc lock, but decided it won't do any more good than having the forks locked. It's still a 400lb bike that can be picked up. The alarm looks like a nice alternative to a regular alarm.

i got the yellow noisy one. it's worth it to me.

it's not about making your bike impervious to thieves, just harder to steal than the one next to it...

I have one. I like the alarm for the "don't sit on me" factor

I figured the same but the alarm could be a real turn off. }

They are pretty loud.
I have some at the parts counter at HC-HD/B.
Haven't had one come back, good to see some owner feedback.

I have one. That thing is LOUD!
I like it, well worth the money if you remember to take it off before you drive away.

You're very unlikely to forget to take it off with the alarm going off...

I thought you were refering to the Warrior Princess.

if you remember to take it off before you drive away Doesn't it have one of those things that goes from it to the handle bars? If not you could make something.

You can get one of those stretchy lock reminders on ebay.
But point being, the alarm is going to go off as soon as you
move the bike. You'll be reminded by the alarm itself to take it off...

The alarm has a very sensitive motion sensor. It will go off just by setting on the bike. No chance you'll ever try to drive off before it goes off.

I bought one of them but the cold weather kills the batteries.
I came out of work to find my alarm was chirping away with the battery death warning.
Very embarrassing.
