Street legal??? Would get attention at a bike night.

This 2007 XBRR race bike was the 5th one produced and raced at the 2006 Daytona 200 by Rico Penzkoffer. The bike was campaigned in AMA Formula Extreme competition later that year by Mike Hale. This bike is assembled and was last run in August 2008.

Oddly, this bike has a clear title, not a race only title. Most XBRR's had to be titled for off road use. This vehicle has clean, STREET LEGAL title. I've actually considered putting an 1125R fairing, tail section, seat, lights and charging system along with the Race Starter on this bike and riding it on the street. In the end, I decided to keep it as a stock collector race bike.

This bike still has a place in ASRA or CCS competition. Or it's going to be a great buy for a collector. Original MSRP was $30,000.

As much pain as it would be to keep it running, it'd sure be an attention getter.

STREET LEGAL????

You could carry a laptop and re-set the learned fuel value with altitude changes... wouldn't be all that hard.

Wowie.

Interesting.

I bet it is picked up by a collector.

It has no lights. How they managed to get a street legal title, who knows. But it would sure as hell be cool to have one.

The matter of converting the XBRR for the street has been extensively covered, and more or less solved in this thread over in the XBRR topic.

This bike presents a great opportunity to achieve that goal due to the title and price.

All though the XBRR has an undeniable cool factor, I doubt it would be any faster than an 1125R, once converted for the street, and a lot less reliable.

Wow - somebody got a cool project... IF it's gonna be put on the street, it's a BIG project to de-tune from 114 octane leaded to 91-93 octane unleaded... but it'd be an interesting "bike nite" ride.
