Got a set in the garage from the same deal a couple months back. I picked them up from the local store and with both tires road hazzard policy and taxes it was right at $240, not too bad! Now did I need to spend that money when i didnt need the new tires....No But somehow i convinced the wifey it was a requirement, haha! |

Why are two little stink'n motorcycle tires...............near the same price of 4 tires for my S-10? Uniroyal radials on my truck that are carrying a lot more weight went 111,000 miles and were still "fair" when I replaced them. Bike tires.....4,000 to 5,000 miles and shot....way shot. |

M/C tires are VERY different from "cage" tires as are their requirements. Mark-up on tires is big. With my discount at the Harley shop I work for, my price for a Corsa III rear was ~$140. Beat the hell out of $235 list... Now I need to replace the front, it's got 14.2k on it. Z |

Don't compare a sport bike tire to a truck tire. Sport bike tires are made from soft compounds, while your truck is made from a hard compound And then, motorcycle tires are significantly different that automobile tires. Motorcycles despite being a 5th of the weight, put more force on tires as they turn differently. Oh, and your comparing cheap brand truck tires to premium motorcycle tires? Apples and oranges. Throw the tires off your S10 on your bike and see what happens. |

Are those the same as the stock tires? I got the ad in the mail and there's the Diablo rossi and these? Don't know the diff. |

Diablo is a line of performance tires. They have several models including Corsa series, Stradas, and many others. Each tire is different and built for different needs. |

Froggy don't like Uniroyals? 111,000 miles service is a cheap tire? I'm not convinced there is some greed factor in motorcycle tire price. A pound of rubber and steel cords IS a pound of rubber and steel cords. A base Sportster and an base FX have nearly all the same pieces parts..............just like my Pilot Roads and my Uniroyals. The Sportster costs less. Shouldn't it cost more since it performs better? |

Try a 30+ degree lean in a turn at full throttle on those Uniroyals & let us know how it works out, ok? Joking/Kidding/Sarcasm aside, good MC tires are more expensive than 'comparable' automotive tires for a lot of reasons, to include: -Volume (lot less MC than auto, ergo increased cost to produce) -Processes (Think what it takes to make a 2CT or Corsa Diablo III vs. a 'normal' auto tire.) -Materials (Silica, method of belting, quality, grade & curing of rubber, etc., etc.) Not saying there isn't generically a larger markup on MC tires than auto tires, as Zack alludes to above. Just saying that the comparison is apples vs. oranges based on the different markets, volumes, etc. As such, not a bad thing to jump on deals for good tires when they come along. |

Bienhoabob just ordered a set of Dunlop Roadsmarts for his Uly and the price was $234.00 delivered to his door. He used these tires this last summer on his Ironbutt ride from coast to coast, put on over 7000 miles in seven days and they looked like brand new after the ride so he just ordered another set for replacement when his wear out. Sounds like a great deal to me. Motosport.com |

I scored on two pair a couple of months back as well. These tires are great on the XB12R, and they did come stock on my 2007 models except for a special number for Buell bulk sale, me thinks. I would like to try a Corsa III on the front, and the Diablo on the rear. Has anybody done this? |

Just went to cycle center and the have the Diablos. But they don't say "corsa, Super sport, strada ect. The stockers are the Super sport right? I looked on my bike and they don't say either. The kid at cycle center really didn't know for sure so I want to make sure I get the right ones. Am I being stupid and it says on the tire? |

might be worthwhile to read about this. http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/questions/cashback. html you can also google ebay live search cash back to see more details. basically, you can get 20-30% as a rebate of your purchase price. i bought my new pirellis on ebay with this. yes, i work at ebay, but this isnt our promo. this is a microsoft gig that they are funding so start your search on live.com (type in ipod to be safe, i dont think buell parts is a keyword that we purchased), click through to ebay from the live.com search results. you will see the discount percentage at the top of the page. enjoy, D |

Interesting Dora. I'm assuming that while the Microsoft Live and Paypal identities are linked, that the Paypal authentication and my Paypal information are still separate and discrete from Microsoft. I think I know where Microsoft is going with this... they are smart. The only question is if they would do it in partnership with Ebay, or in competition with them. Probably in partnership, not so much because of Ebay, but because of PayPal. Hmmm. Smart folks with money to burn on both sides of the table on that one. |

Go to you local Giant Eagle and buy EBAY gift cards to pay for you EBAY purchases and get .20 cents off a gallon of gas for every $50 bucks of worth of gift cards on a 30 gallon fill up.... I just spent 600 bucks on ebay got $2.40 off a gallon for a 30 gallon fill up 30 gallons cost 48 bucks and change. Thats another 8% savings.... and I still have about a buck off a gallon for my next fill up. |
